Same as Ashworth and some would prefer him to Williams and Ogbeta.  Partly depends what style of player the respective managers want at full back I suppose.

If he was any good he’d have played for us no problem. He couldn’t get past Gethin Jones…

I thought Ramsey was poor when he actually played.

Thing is after a couple of months of pre-season training in pie-land he'll be inculcated with the "we hate Bolton" chip on the shoulder mentality. Fuelled by not getting many games with us. He'll play out of his skin for two games next season inbetween defeats at Burton and Shrewsbury etc.

He made a couple of decent runs in front of us in the Pizza at Blackpool, but was woefully off the pace in his other appearances.

Clearly not fit and the fact he’s going out on loan again to a lower L1 team says it all.

Still didn't make an impact though.

Can’t really judge him because he was an invisible man, same thing what happened at PNE ended up happening here too. Obviously a decent player for LFC to snap him up but clearly has massive fitness issues. Was initially excited by the signing along with Taylor but turned out massive disappointments due to the fact their body’s couldn’t take a full half of proper footy in the condition they came in. 

Can’t judge him off what we had. Didn’t look great but then neither did Nlundulu and we bought him

It was Cogley keeping him out, presumably Ramsay was scouted before he signed.  Must have been signed as back up at RWB but unfortunately for him that's one position that doesn't get rotated even as substitutions, JDC must have had most minutes on pitch in league games of anyone.

There's obviously a player in there or Liverpool wouldn't have signed him in the first place.

... but after two seasons where he's been loaned out and played barely any games suggests, at present, there's something not right with him.

Looking forward to Wigan fans singing about how Calvin Ramsey is a blue and he hates Bolton. 🙄

Its probably part of the induction course they send new signings on.  Lesson 1 How Fot Understand Wigan Accent; Lesson 2 Why We Hate Bolton.

Liverpool are usually pretty diligent in their loans too. Look how long it took us to get Bradley and the visits they made before making the decision. That then opened up other opportunities 

the fact this has been done so early and he’s had a few in quick succession I think demonstrates where Liverpool rate him

we seemed to have at least 2 RWBs when we signed him. So that's one that I couldn't fathom.

Jones had just been called up for Australia, so we didn’t really have cover in January.

His legs are made of twiglets, but he’s nailed on for 2 absolute blinders next season.
