Checked his goals and he’s a number assisted by Collins when they were at Bristol together, 6-3 target man, it’s a yes from me.

My Boro mate rates him as a great prospect but not a "target man" in the SKD sense as such, but he can play a bit and is a finisher. Not sure he could have the work rate out of possession as e.g. Dion but feed him and he will score apparently. A yes from me if we get him at the right price.

Josh Coburn would be an astute bit of business, he will score goals for fun at league one level. I hope we’re also looking at that Taylor again from Luton.

It would be nice to have an out and out bagsman who can put the ball in the net in two touches

When I watched him at our place a couple of seasons ago, he reminded me of the early version of SKD - Chesterfield, 1st time at Southampton

I expect he'll be playing in the Championship next season

More than likely but the sort of player we should be aiming for if we want to get out of the division.

But even after losing Bod and CJ we already have four fist line strikers in Dion, AC, Vic and Dan, plus two potential others in Conor Carty and CMG so unless at least one’s going how do we fit another in?

Get Dan loaned out and think we might take offer for Vic if Turkey offer is still on.

CMG won't be playing for a long time yet and I think Carty will go on loan again

Yeah Carty managed about 3 games before his injury so I'd imagine another loan is on the cards.

As much as Coburn would be a very handy striker to have at this level, the lad on twitter could have just been hinting at Ashworth going back to WBA & making the fast turnaround back to us after we activated the clause to buy

We need to look and assess pre-season and maybe early season, to see where he's up to.

I reckon he'd certsinly get a loan spell in league two, and maybe even a smaller league one side.

Just need a decent performance level from him in friendlies to show clubs he is worth a punt.

the baffling one is what was seen during his loan to warrant a fee for him

Always said this, 300k isn’t loose change for us either

Anyway our gaffer compared him to Ivan toney so let’s see😀

Peterborough signed Conn-Clarke from Altrincham to partner Mason-Clark.  If they could have held onto Clarke-Harris their forward line of Clarke, Clark and Clarke would have been a shoe-in for top scorers in L1.

I agree.

I think my first sentence was a bit ambiguous.

I was meaning in terms of assessing what clubs may be interested- league one or two.

Of course if he's dynamite, then fair enough, keep him for a bit, but I wouldn't expect that.
