Pretty big war chest, if Baxter, santos and Sheehan go for the rumoured 7.5k combined

Don't forget JOHNSTON to Stoke for £1mil and Vic to Turkey for £750k.

It's clear from that interview Sharon did that, he's blamed the poor performance at the end of the season on Coleman and she's turned around and told him he needs a better no2. Is Coleman a great keeper? No. Is he good enough for League One? Yes. Is he responsible for our terrible performance after the new year? definitely not.

Shall we not wait and see how good the new keeper is and what happens with the current ones before we start acting silly beggars?

Another reason to hate the manager. Hutch deserves better

Is it genuinely another case of a youngster not being given a chance, and is deserving of one, or is he just not quite up to it?

I've no idea as to his quality, though it would be nice to see young ones coming through.

And Sharon didn't blame Coleman. She was explaining the injury crisis and was searching for an example and the keeper situation was the first one that sprang to mind.

I think you're right: it's not in her nature to behave in such a way, though maybe her turn of phrase wasn't the best. Folk will always jump on anything given an opportunity.

Always the bridesmaid never the bride or maybe Pep swooping in with millions more for the war chest.

Coleman didn't do much wrong and better than Dixon or Crellin.

Surprised by this one. Coleman and Hutch likely to be loaned out now I guess?

Two signings - both in areas I didn't think he'd strengthen. Both with the same profile of mid-20s players, rated at League 1 level, having run their contracts down.

I do think we need at least one midfield signing who doesn't fit that profile.

We're still in that market though, especially after pushing the boat out on AC last year.

Guess we'll see if one or two go, and for what money, what the spending plans actually are.

Yes there both not going to get us we’re we want down grade on what We have

You seen them play regularly then?

No scope for improvement on their part?

We're almost certainly going to lose a player or two, and getting others in is part and parcel of managing the club.

Just remember- many of our players you feel are superior, were also picked up from lower and non league.

Let's just give them a chance eh, rather than a wonderful welcome of "you're a bit shit"

Aye, I know. I don't necessarily mean the dosh side of things. More the need for an older head in the middle of the park.

I see these signings as part of wheeling and dealing, in order to perhaps grab that marquee midfielder, perhaps we need to sell one or two, especially if they're having their head turned.

Building gradually.

Completely agree Trotter, when Coleman came into the team he hadn’t been playing so it was obviously going to take time to get up to speed and for me he did really well once he was. Baxter was obviously a big miss but surely any back up keeper needs games to keep in shape so whether it’s Joel or this new guy they have to be game ready and that was a fault by Evatt not Coleman.
