I don’t and never will understand people’s obsession with red. We had red socks in 91/92. Our badge has a red rose on it. Traditionally our away kit was red.
June 14, 20242 yr I always assumed the touch of red was to reflect Lancashire. Whatever the case, I’ve followed the Whites for 50 years and white and blue, with a little red, has always been our colours; as reflected in the traditional scarf.

Another one for the list of players who are talked about what they could have done rather than what they actually did. Parkinson’s style of football reputedly didn’t suit him, but I’m not sure Evatt’s would either tbh.

I thought he was great for us
