  • Sure it's that Mandela effect in full flow here that we all seem to be OK with this. It's a fucking travesty and complete shitshow. He's our most prolific striker by a country mile, has been

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

they're agents after all - if they want to generate any cash, they'll be putting the feelers out no doubt about it

without doubt probably put feelers out months ago

Which goes into other post on ken, this is the way out when we can’t hit 20k

aye, called it a couple of days ago, saw this coming a mile off

doesn't mean we'll sell him, unless it's a decent chunk, but it's very predictable

maybe he learned his lesson last season when in December he stated there's no way we'd sell the heart and soul of the club (Clough and Vela), then sold Clough and had to backtrack, this time he's covering his arse a month in advance

he doesnt need to cover his arse

or, he shouldnt have to

something has to be done to balance the books

aye but you know as well as I did that if Vela does leave, it won't be for enough, it'll potentially weaken us, and there'll be more pissed off than ok with it (or making more of a noise about it)

Vela before his injury, I wouldn't sell him. the way he's played since his return I'm not so sure. Doubt we would get more than 2 million for him anyway.

lets get danny rowe from fylde while we are at it and theres a bloke plays for the dog n duck in the huyton sunday league 3rd division u18s reserves

hes a prospect

i bet even dr faustus mate hasnt picked him up yet

????????????

He's been looking at this gem of Nigerian lad called Augustine

Could noone cover Velas running about a lot and trying to get on the end of 2nd balls role I wonder??

No-one would be as effective as Vela.

Oh ye of little faith.

Remember, Caldwell, McAteer, and Vardy's done OK for himself.

Occasionally such gems are out there.

Madine linked with Sunderland according to some sites. It seems Vela is not our only underappreciated asset.

Grabban is a Bournemouth player.

Could be some truth in the Madine rumour. Coleman teams tend to have a big no 9; McBride at Fulham, Aguirretxe at Sociedad, that Burnley lad who's English for Wales.

Isn’t Madine a Newcastle boy? Not sure he’d go down well in Sunderland

Mind you he goes down well everywhere

Boom boom :D

It is from the Sunderland Echo so could be true, unless the Echo is like the Bolton News in being informed!

They had better not be teasing with this Madine rumour, i'm getting quite excited at the prospect of it being true

I'm not sure why. It would strengthen a rival and leave us looking for a replacement with very little money to spend.

1 i didnt know that

2 i wasnt being serious

I'd sooner take Cattermole. A midfield of Henry and Cattermole would be solid.

Big lad has unfinished work here

Be bollocks

His wages would be eye watering. Plus we'd need still a replacement for Madine.

Yes for sure. I said it with losing Vela in mind. Then we need a midfielder and forward.

I'd sooner take Cattermole. A midfield of Henry and Cattermole would be suspended

We coped admirably last season without him...

Speaking of which.

Does the record still carry on? No wins without him starting since when?

Edited by Eavesy

Coped admirably without who?

If your referring to Madine you need to give your head a wobble .

Getting a replacement for him might not be unsolvable but a risk .
