We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

  • Like when we went up from league 2, we needed tried and tested players from that specific division/level to deal with the task in hand. Doyle and Sarcs etc. We need exactly the same in this divis

We've got the young kid Wilbraham to fall back on.

Coped admirably without who?

If your referring to Madine you need to give your head a wobble .

Getting a replacement for him might not be unsolvable but a risk .

If we didn't replace him parky'd have to change his tactics.

A front line of ALF and Armstrong isn't going to win many headers.

And Wilbrahamavic is older than Gandalf

I actually believe we have a midfield we no longer have to bypass. If he can replace him it's the lesser of 2 evils

Wibraham has one every header I think he has gone for. Very underrated

He's done well in his short relief spells no doubt.

Not sure we can rely on him for a full half season

That’s not really a good data sample is it

Isn’t Madine a Newcastle boy? Not sure he’d go down well in Sunderland

Mind you he goes down well everywhere

Boom boom :D

He's from Birtley/Chester-Le-Street and went to the same school as Bryan Robson.

CLS is on the Wear and equidistant from both cities. In football terms it is a frontier town.

Birtley is just to the north of CLS.

Wilbrahamovich scored the winning goal for the u123s on Monday.

That squad scored 1 goal in the opening 6 matches, but since then have scored 24 in the next 8, winning the last 6 in succession.

Connor Hall had 2 hat tricks last month.

We didn’t cope without him.

Southend was won without him.

He's old enough to be their dad for most of the squad.

He was good in 'Tropic Thunder'...

Which reminds me, Eidur's 16 year old half-brother is with Swansea's academy.

We didn’t cope without him.

You go on holiday to Sunderland?

If you've got kids, they'll hate you for ever.

County Durham.

Never actually been into sunlun centre, though do fancy the glass museum.

Funnily enough, one of the dogs had a nocturnal projectile anal emission, whilst up there recently.

Finished up at a launderette in spennymoor; on an estate which I'm sure frequently features on police interceptors- now you're right, if I stayed there any length of time he would hate me forever.

We've been up there a few time, usually stay on the coast north of Hartlepool.

Nice area tbf.

 nocturnal projectile anal emission

That sounds like a prog rock album, the sort of shit Rick Wakeman would come out with

George Cortney from spennymoor has always stuck in my head thanks to Dave higsons commentary .
