FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Iirc, Sheehan had the second highest number of yellows last season.

I don't think that was because he was getting stuck into every player in the other team.

Hence why using him in a 2 in midfield is a very risky tactic.

Holden could tackle.

Sheehan can't.

Aye, Holden was a Premier League quality player.

Sheehan may be good enough for the Championship.

Good shout. Based on what little we saw, he did look like a RWB … which 4-2-3-1 doesn’t need!

Forgot to quote WhitesSince63 … Don’t forget we have Desmond on the right too who is now fit

Sheehan is easily good enough for the championship.

Him and Muamba were the 2 highest rated midfielders in the League for a while.

So Coyle dropped Muamba to play Chris Eagles.

Sorry but if he was he would be playing there. At times he is excellent and at times does a good job covering when too many pushed fwad. BUT (big but) in too many really big games he is ineffective.

Kicked out of big games…. Think that wouldn’t happen or go unpunished higher up. Lads easily championship level , especially if he had some one minding him.

All about opinions but what you have posted pretty much sums up why he is with us. The idea the refs in the Championship would be significantly tougher (or more competent) than in League is something I do not believe. But even then you say he needs a minder.

So as long as he plays in a non contact league with tough refs and other players looking after him I agree he could play a higher level. 😂😎

Same old shite......when will he ever learn

What you gonna say if we win?

Just need a top performance now.

Fully agree, we have league one players,

They'd have offers from above if so. Think we've had offers for victor and GT??

Question was is he good enough. And he is

Wonder what your views are after that

Great win and i thought Schon, Thomason and Collins  had excellent second halfs

Sheehan and Santos steady all game

Not happy with 2 in midfield and no keeper on the bench.....My views on both counts have not changed

The 2 in midfield isn’t great, (but we’re light there so sort of understand it)think he changed it second half ( credit to the management team) I’m happy with Evatts call on keepers, allows more outfield options off the bench… oh and we’re going up. 😉

Good reply but we will agree to disagree.....Baxter gets injured too many times for it not to be a issue

I like Mcatee but his inclusion in this formation  makes us unbalanced

We’ve not got going this season and we’re spitting distance from top 2, new players still bedding in and injuries returning… Tutu showed some quality glimpses and a level of pace we don’t have elsewhere, he could be massive for us  if he stays fit…

Unfair on him for me.

Use the 2 up top. If he's one of them, fair enough.

Yes we won, but you can't help feeling a third midfielder in there, ie Matete, would have provided for bite and stability, especially in a rain soaked Derby.

Cracking finish but if he doesn't score that he's had a bit of a stinker on the face of it - 1st half as bad as everyone else, missed that sitter that hit bar, that break when he managed to loft a pass to nobody, the one where he got in the way of Schon who was about to shoot towards an unguarded net, the shot when he cut in from the left and hit one about 10 yards wide from a good position.  Frustrating.  I'd have him in the team most games because of his ability (shown by the goal) but if the ref blows a couple of minutes earlier, he's had a bad 'un.

yes i can see where you are coming from, first half he was dire not really in the game but second half he put a shift in, not many times you can say that about him.

The one he hits the bar was not as easy as it looked first time. A lot of players would have rushed the ball in the 94th min, but he showed a great first touch. It ends 1-1 i would not have mentioned him agreed

The effort that hit the post- he does appear to be just stretching a touch.

How many times has he been replaced during a game?

Correct. Bellamy sees the player he is and has made him a regular starter for Wales.
