Is Caleb Taylor out of contract at WBA this summer? I'd be happy to see him come back.

and i'm sure he had to be taken off a few times through injury

Ahh fair enough. Thought he might be a potential freebie.  Him and Forino going up for corners together would have been quite a sight!

Played 38 times for Wycombe last season and he was brilliant for them at our place (and scored).

You contrarian.

That’s history.

And Evatt probably brought him back to play while he was still injured, obviously.

How accurate it is, who knows, but different sites paint a similar picture.

I would imagine pretty much every club has someone with wealth propping them up to an extent.

As posters have said, FFP (or whatever iteration it has in L1) is far less stringent than leagues above.

Spend the dosh now whilst you can I suppose.

The HUGE detail in FFP is that different leagues have different rules so getting promoted clears your decks for the new league. Get relegated back to where you overspent though & your previous numbers there come into play. Very messy.

does anyone know if the rolls royce was offered a new deal?

There were talks but he was clear early on this would be his last season! Similar to Baxter (though he got nervous once out of the team and declared his undying love for Bolton).

Especially if the taker can clear the first defender.

Who knew that bit was hard ?

I didn't watch much of the Charlton game last night (it looked dire) but a couple of bits I saw were 2nd half, Charlton had a corner.  Player lashes it too far, goes into touch.  A few minutes later, a free kick on the left, same player launches it (too far) to the far post, it goes out for a goal kick.  Jones the manager going ballistic on the side, how difficult is it to put a ball into the box?  Hitting it too far, hitting the first man, take your pick.  When I watch local amateur football they simply put a cross into the box, it really isn't difficult.

West Brom defender Taylor signs new four-year dealThe 21-year-old Albion academy graduate, who spent the last three months of last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers, is now tied to The Hawthorns until June 2028. Taylor has made nine Albion first-team appearances since making his debut in August 2021

Potentially

Bradley played well in one season where we finished 8th in L1 and won the EFL trophy

Hunt was a regular in a team that established itself in the top half of the PL and got in Europe twice

No contest

If it's based on sentiment or which player you 'liked' more, maybe.

On ability, eight months after he left us Bradley was starting regularly (and playing well) in the Premier League for Liverpool. He was a better player here at 20 than Nicky Hunt ever was in his life.

What he did for Liverpool is irrelevant

It's what they did for us

I'd have SKD in before Anelka

And a whole host of players before Hierro

Hierro wouldn't make it in to my to 40 players for what he actually did at Bolton.

Truth be told he was fucking shite.

Without doubt the classiest player I've ever seen in a Bolton shirt. By miles. Including me.

As a centre half I couldn't argue with you but he was class in the Campo role
