Makes sense.

Looking at his time there, from a young player, he didn't see much action.

He’s neither a forward or a midfielder, come to think it he’s not a number 10 either. He could try being a defender, but he’s probably not one of those too.

Keeper.

In a 'Three & In' sort of thing. Maybe even a 'flying keeper'.

Anyone heard any more on the Jellis and Ledson rumours?

Ledson I can understand, haven’t seen much of Jellis other than that volley in L2 goal of the month.

Spoke to many Nobenders over weekend & they all really rate Ledson. Most of them saying that they don't want him to go.

However, apparently Huddersfield have already spoken to him so I hope we haven't been left behind.

I’d like him too - probably just what we need in CM. We must have a chance though given Schueys Everton connection?

Jamie Jellis I’m not sure about as he has not much pedigree above non league and had a few injuries so unless Schuey has seen something in him I don’t get it - or the rumour is just bollocks.

Did someone mention an injured player? Surely they're bang on for being signed up

Think Jellis scored against us in the cup last season......Got to be Agent led Bollox

Looks a tidy player Jellis to me, pace, strength and an eye for a goal so I hope it’s more than just rumour. I believe Walsall have an option of an extra year in his contract which I’d expect them to trigger if they go up so maybe it’s irrelevant anyway?

What is he?

Unless one of the terms of his contract is we all get a go on her, I fail to see the relevance.

We've spoken to Ledson, but so have plenty of clubs. Players / managers / agents on holiday at mo so not loads happening.

Really just a sounding out process at the moment. He's keen to stay North West (if only so his other half can get to work more easily) so he'll likely end up at Hudds / Us / Wrexham (?) or similar. Was on £7K a week at PNE.

The bells I have heard a couple of rumours we are open to offers for Sheehan have you heard the same?

That's part of the proposed contact I believe.

Don't know anything about that, but he's probably our most saleable asset (and Collins) so wouldn't surprise me. I know he has his detractors but i think 'll get a Championship gig if he goes. There'll be clubs like Swansea who would happily part with £500K for him i reckon!

I like Sheehan and would be happy to keep him.

I agree he would do a better job a division above too. Could be a good move for all parties.

if he goes I’d say we need at least 3 cms though

I think Sheehan epitomises a weakness in our team; he can have an impact if the opponents give him time and space and let him play. However as Oxford showed, he can be neutralised. He is physically weak and has an inclination for backing out of challenges. Teams that have us sussed, therefore can dilute his impact. When he plays for Wales, he is often snuffed out and has little impact as a water carrier. We need a bigger, tougher version, in my opinion, not cheap, I expect?
