I'm not disagreeing (or agreeing, jury out for me) but I'd be surprised if Wrexham have any better central defenders currently.  Happy to be corrected, I couldn't name one, I'm just going off the 2 games against them.

And if we'd beat Oxford Santos would have been the only player I'd have said we didn't need an upgrade on for the championship.  He would have been nailed on starter every game he was available, I'm not sure anyone else in the squad then or now would have been.

I’ve seen the article suggesting this move. Pretty sure it’s click bait. Everything I was told (by his wife) was that they wanted to locate near to London as kids started to grow up. 

I do think a Champ club might see him as a risk worth taking. Not a starter, but if he stays fit then good cover and someone you’d bring on with 15 to go to see a game out. MK made sense (appreciate lower level). One of today’s play off finalists might also make sense

He can sometimes bully strikers in lg1, but will be found lacking mobility against quicker, stronger championship players.

I did say that and it probably is unrealistic but unless you ask you never know however impractical.

Went to Charlton to be nearer his family in Kent.
He was going to Gillingham, which is much closer to Kent, but Charlton had more money.

Then, when Birmingham landed in L1 with loads of cash, he suddenly remembered he had family in the Midlands too.
