he scored about 70 goals in about 40 games when he first turned up. (or so it seemed)

always used to score two, then peptic would would hook him off before getting two more.

fucking dixie dean's ghost mustve had secrets on guardiola . or summat .

😐

I had £10 on him t his first season at city to score 5 hat tricks in prem @ 80/1 and he got 4 before Christmas. Was being offered £400 cash out but didn't take it as obviously he would get another one. The amount of times pep took him off after getting 2 in second half of season was really fecking annoying and he didn't get one. Tw*t. 🤣

Latest rumour Sam Dalby Wrexham out of contract was on loan at Dundee United last season scored 15 goals .

Dalby's style of play has been likened[by whom?] to English striker Harry Kane, due to his stature, finishing and hold up play 😄

He was top scorer in the Scots Prem for most of the season, but had a quiet last few games and finished joint 4th.  It seemed odd that Wrexham were signing loads of strikers, including JDB for a while, but had a decent one on loan at Dundee that seemed to suit their style of play.

I thought Wrexham may have used him next season if they'd stayed in L1 but with them going up he'll be available and looks well capable of leading a L1 forward line.  And he scores headers.

Saw a fair bit of him on the Scottish coverage last season, as @Johnnyrottensaid, strong first half / two thirds of season, just tailed off a bit in last few weeks but overall showed his capability against largely similar level opposition

Anybody think it may be worth giving a chance to Brandon Williams for our right back spot? There was a good article about him on the BBC site and if he’s learned some common sense could be a good signing with Schu’s arm around his shoulder. Lives local and wouldn’t cost anything but if he’s settled down and learned his lesson he could be a stellar signing for us.

I think he's a left back

And it'd only work if he got his head straight before joining, but if he did get his head straight before signing for a club, I think he'd be looking at higher up than us

He’s a left back.

And we need tried and trusted players who are ready to go. Not rehabbing some idiot who’s wasted their opportunities.

United saw him as the replacement for Phil Neville who correct me if I’m wrong was a right back?

I'm not sure about that - Phil Neville left United when Williams was six years old

Ha, I didn’t word my response very well, I didn’t mean direct replacement obviously just in a similar mould to Neville. 🤪

He’d help. But way above us. Tarkowski has recently bought a house in Horwich. Sadly also way above us.

Obviously emersing himself in local football culture prior to joining us in a couple of years, he was present at Tempest Utd Legends game today.

Witnessed an entertaining 1-1 draw with the green team winning on pens, dramatic stuff.

Phil Neville played left back and midfield.

It's easy to confuse them, as they're both ugly Munich cunts from Bury.

Been at Trent Bridge today so missed that. Couple of fellas I know were playing.

He’s out of contract end of next season so anything possible.

Hope you had a good afternoon

Maybe if we can get to the championship we'll have a chance of getting him in a year to partner Keane 😀.

Some proper footballers on show, could tell some of them could play a decade or so ago.  One guy took about 10 corners from the right with his left foot, every single one of them put on a postage stamp around the penalty spot, why is that skill so hard at pro level?!

Trent Bridge is a great venue, I'm at OT next Saturday (Lancs v Notts).
