Both had a great impact, but Kieron Lee was only 32!

Vardy's 38, Ashley Young and James Milner 39 and I'd take them in a heartbeat (in L1, not Prem).

Watched us preseason at Fleetwood and knew we were missing sumert in midfield even then. Henry was that missing piece. He could have stayed for two more seasons for me. Not had a player like him since .

Anyone not capable of starting a game  should not be getting a contract and taking a squad place when you only can register so many players we have to many players not capable of playing week in week out as it is

People aren't pining for Karl Henry. We as a team are pining for a midfielder as crude and snide and streetwise as him for years that's all. He was the last one of that ilk we've had.

What's going on with that? Looking at his stats he's played a lot of games for PNE so why's he dropping down a division?

Wasn't a regular at PNE over the last two seasons and PNE were poor last season.
He was released and at 27 yrs old was looking for a 3 if not 4 year deal somewhere.

I'm guessing we felt the total cost of the deal wasn't worth it for yet another under 5'10" midfielder.

Wasn't one that was getting me excited for those reasons, maybe a generalisation but we're not that likely to improve our squad with folk who have, at best, been in and out of bottom half Championship sides. 

I'm not too fussed that we didn't sign Ledson, not sure we were ever really in for him anyway. I still think we might try and sign Jordan Houghton from Plymouth instead.

I know what people mean about Karl Henry but let's go back a bit further. What we wouldn't give for a Kevin Nolan, Gary Speed or Per Frandsen. 

Stig tofting is what we need in this division.

Cheers. I've never heard of him as PNE don't even register on my radar. I was just wondering why he dropped down a league but makes sense

His name meant nowt to me but PNE fans on Twitter sounded appreciative and largely said he'd be an excellent signing for Huddersfield. He was described as 'combative' which I thought we'd be looking for. I imagine we can't compete with Huddersfield on wages though. Not now.

I’d rather we had a go for Langstaff from Millwall who would probably be cheaper but more proven. No saying they’d let him go but he hasn’t played much there and they may prefer to recoup some of the reputed £700k they spent for him?
