Can't disagree with that, but we'll all be on here fuming if we don't have a suitable striker in by the end of July 😀 That striker might be on a pre-season tour with a championship club at the time scoring against some part-timers and thinking he'll get in the team (their season starts a week later than our's).

Well, he's at his best facing the opponent's goal, getting on the end of crosses etc.

If we're going to use proper wingers, and play with pace, then that should suit him more than Evatt ball with his back to goal.

Still not convinced like, but if we are going to keep him, then may as well try.

He can't get on the end of crosses. Can't find space, make space, anticipate where the ball will break, or head the ball.

He's not quick, can't dribble, balls either under his feet or too far away to control it. Goes through the motions of closing down. Can't tackle, shoot and he's not even big.

Surely, surely, we pull the trigger on that million pound offer from Turkey that seems to appear every transfer window for him ?

We have several big issues in preparation for next season, and Victor is a big issue, if SS doesn't fancy him, then what?

We aren't getting rid of him.

In which case, when fit, we may as well see what he can do within a different set up.

Looking at the goals he does get, they seem to be close in, being on hand to knock 'em in.

He isn't twatting them in from 20+ yards regularly. 

He wasn't as bad at Burton neither, and I don't think Evatt ball really suited him.

We have little option other than to get him right for Christmas time and see if we can get him a loan, or get him into the fold.

You'd think that would be how it plays out, he gets fit in time for Jan window opening and gets a loan for rest of season, unless we've an injury crisis at that time

Spot on, at least give him a chance in his best position which is in the box not chasing defenders down or being asked to hold the ball up for others. I agree he’s limited in some respects but let’s at least give him a try there before completely writing him off.
