As a No1 or a No2?

No3 I'd have thought, behind the Austrian International and the Norwegian International......unless one of them is moving on

Bachmann isn't well liked by all accounts and hasn't played for Austria since 2023. Think Baxter will at minimum be the No 2 next season, possibly backs himself if given the chance, fair play to him, but I'm not overly fussed that he's gone.

he fucked his hand, that one isnt worth arguing about

i do think the player/manager relationship was badly damaged by that one

they were both at fault, imo

anyway, its history

We got him for Nowt, and he'll be playing for someone else

I mean if he can bring that JDB style of play & genuine aerial ability then it may turn out to be a good option on a free. Suspect he’ll be our version of what Cosgrove was in Schueys Argyle team

Dalby strikes me as a player around whom we'd have to play a very particular style. I don't think SS would be expecting lots of goals from him but he'd be expecting more goals from Collins/McAtee etc as a result of his presence. Thing is if that's the style we want we'd need another like him if he's not available or the whole system doesn't work.

Anyway, enough theorising. Let's sign him first!

Hope that Dalby is just the back up and we bring in another like Jatta at Notts County. Would be happy with either of those leading the lines and Collins playing slightly wide of either
