Yes Forrester really wants to win and shows great commitment, although I have a feeling that Inwood will play a greater part than we all think, he looked really good in the first team. There will probably some players who will leave where we can't understand why, but SS seems to want to clear the decks and instil his own philosophy on the team, which seems to be based around pace, power and strength, something which we have been sadly lacking.

I don’t think a handful of signings is evidence that SS “wants to clear the decks”

When he arrived he said how excited he was to work with this squad.

Now he’s been here for a while and knows what he’s dealing with, it looks more like tweaking at the moment.

We’ll see.

Peterborough will be determined to get some serious coin for him since the other lad (Jones?) went to the Bundesliga for nowt. They've a good record tbf at getting maximum value for their players. Bet they still can't believe what we shelled out for Randall though.

He’s out of contract

I do not think Schumacher can clear the decks,,,,Will be hard to shift players under contract if they do not want to go.

What he has done already is made the squad more balanced and given us more options to play numerous systems

More so if we sign a left back.

The three players released spent more time on the physios bench last season and they were not alone.

That is Schumacher main problem getting them out playing

Doubt any team had as many injured last season as Bolton and i think that is now being Addressed

Rumours around Nottingham that Jatta is signing for Doncaster for £500k! Surely not?

You would have to be able to shift toal   Dempsey , farino , Dan ,  , tutu , forester all on for that to happen we also have victor and Morley out long term

500K would probably buy Ennis, that's if SS wants him mind and he's played at a higher level than Jatta.

Think Morley is fine was only a short term injury that just happened to be at the back end of the season

All those you have mentioned bar Forinho and Toal are out of contract this time next year....Victor i doubt will be back this year so may never see him again, Dan i think will go down to lge 2 and get loaned out again i doubt we will see again

We have eight players whose contracts are up next season. They wont get extensions or new clubs if they spend lengthy spells out this coming season.

Smarter game management will see us having a stronger league one squad come match day......The cups will be a chance to blood some of the good up and coming youngsters with two or three players who do not make the league squad week on week.

Would not take either over Collins

Not another loan keeps. Get a L! experienced man who can get to know his defenders on a long term basis and organise them. We need a goalkeeping coach too.

We shall see indeed. Although there was an announcement about having a reduced squad with B team and youth players playing more of a part in proceedings.

He's under 24. Won't there be a development fee for any would be purchasers?

To add to this after all this talk of Ennis over recent weeks, there's hardly anything to suggest that he's prolific. He got 12 in League one two seasons ago, 1 in the championship in 25 games the year after and 7 on loan at Blackpool for half a season last year.

It's a no from me.

Fuckin ell it's the Simon Cowell of wways.

For balance I think it’s worth throwing in that Ennis led the line in a 100 point plus title winning season for Schumacher

People get far too hung up on stats

WANDERERS should wrap up the loan signing of England Under-21 goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe this week as Steven Schumacher’s rebuilding job gathers pace.

The Bolton News understands that a deal has been agreed with Chelsea to loan the 22-year-old for the season but that an announcement has been slowed because the Premier League club is currently involved at the Club World Cup in the US.

The situation has been further complicated with the fact that Sharman-Lowe is also in Slovakia with England for the European Under-21 Championships.

But the details of the transfer are all-but done, with Sharman-Lowe set to link up with his former Chelsea team-mate Xavier Simons, who was signed from Hull City last week.

When is Dan N’Lundulu out of contract? Is it his final season with us?

Cant imagine anyone will come in for him with his injury record  although he did ok at Cambridge until he got injured yet again. I don’t have much confidence in either him or the big kid as cover for the new striker so I imagine Schuey has more work to do sorting that out - unless he thinks Warren will be ready to step up.

Think discounting any keeper based on them playing for England or not is quite a high threshold to be honest.

His last year with us.  SS might want to see him in some pre season games and see if he can fit in with what he's trying to do. Either that or he's already been made aware he's bobbins and to see if he can shift him on to someone as daft as Evatt.

The only reason Baxter was released and not Southwood is because Baxter is out of contract

Southwood has a year left on his contract and he will do very well to get it extended.......Schumacher clearly did not fancy either

Southwood was in Liverpool airport last night.

Stay tuned for more riveting Bolton player whereabouts info.
