Think that's because there's no leaks in the club due to the usual lack of activity.

There's been comparatively little speculation prior to signings this summer. Mr Nixon only had the inside track on Joel Dixon (at the same time he also said we'd sign Cole Stockton). The BN had the story on Sheehan marginally before it happened. Obviously the loan returns were quite well telegraphed but apart from that it's been quiet for gossip. No names in speculation is therefore not overly concerning today.

Think he's actually an attacking left midfielder who can play full back or wing-back. Gives us options and he looked a good player for us last season. Thumbs up from me.

I like John, he's good at free kicks and possibly a better defender than Jackson. At the end of last season if I could have had either back I'd have chosen Jackson.

We have Bakayoko, who started exellently, to come back.

We have Kacha to find his feet, which he will.

We have Ameachi to return, hopefully for the season. He also looked vg pre-injury.

Unless a striker can arrive who's better than these why would he sign ? If we can land a young Prem' prospect on loan, fair enough.

Let's add if a good one is found, but the squad is decent.
