If they've already accepted whatever we've offered, then doesn't it come down to the desire of the player himself, irrespective of if someone else offers more? Now, if he chases bigger money elsewhere, then fair enough (not sure Preston would be offering a massive amount more than we were), but if he enjoyed his time and quite fancies coming back, then maybe he needs to tell his agent this.
