With a rail card is it not that on the train....genuinely asking.

 

£85 to be there in just over 2 hours is worth it. Saying that I am on peasant advance mode Friday £44 return for 2 seats (finally accepted I should pay for my arse as it covers two seats)

2 hours to London is all well and good but when you add on time to get to your local train station, the waiting for the train, the train to Piccadilly or Wigan, then the waiting at Piccadily or Wigan . And then the commuting across London you're soon looking at 4 hours each way

Which makes your £85 go further and become even better value for money

im probably going to be setting off at 7.30 to make the 935

 

 

in fact, theres a bit to be said for a taxi to manc
