Marc505 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Watford away a few years back I bailed at half time. Plenty others did 5 minutes in at Sheff Weds a few years back, not by choice however. Half time under Lennon earliest I've gone by choice, can't remember who it was against. Threw my pie against a wall then went and ranted at the Lofthouse statue outside, pissed up. Quote

birch-chorley Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 (edited) Half time for me at Bristol as well, shouldn't have bothered as we got on the bus the wrong way! Got back into town about 5 minutes before the lads who stayed for the full thrashing, saying that it was probably more fun on the bus than in the ground Anyone after a sports bar for drinks in Bristol, look no further than Pranj's, superb Edited September 25, 2017 by birch-chorley Quote

itdiddidit? Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Why are folk making plans for the Bristol game on the villa thread? Any good suggestions for parking at villa? I need to get to Leicester after the game. i'd pay the going rate and get in a car park. i had no change and rustled up a few coppers to pay the youth who was hovering about on his patch. he didn't look impressed as i handed over my offering. I remember the road as i parked adjacent the street sign, it was Kenilworth road a la lutons ground. i came back to no stereo and a hole where my drivers side window was. surprisingly he was still there when i returned. i chased him round the car about 3 times until i gave up and he shouted it wasn't him it was two black lads. top it all we lost to a late dwight yorke goal, think it was mcateers last game. it was august but freezing on the journey home with no glass. I too headed to leicester after the match to find a 24 hour autoglass as i was living in South Wigston/The Bronx at the time. Quote

I need to get to Leicester after the game. Few years back I went there with an old mate who's a Hull fan for their game there. We parked at Sutton Coldfield train station and then got the train to Aston (half hour or so). Back then parking was cheap and you got some back on buying the train ticket. Plus once back it's an easy getaway for the motorway. But I think that was midweek, so what it's like Saturday for parking I don't know.... Quote
