It’s what private Heath insurance is for.

Just out of an appointment now would’ve been £400 down if not On top of the 1500 spent to date a Further £2000 in a couple of weeks and maybe 20k for an op 👍🏼

Been paying NI out of my wages since 1969, so we all have to go private now ?

I pay Ni also and several thousand pounds a year of it. I’ve  family  in Canada they survive without an nhs. Not that I think for one minute we will ever not have one or should one.

I was being flippant so apologies I’m now in a lot of pain but no excuse

Ever thought he might be striking the first blow in trade deal negotiations?

Of course trump being who he is, he will interfere and say things.

Just like the EU have done for the past 3 years or so.

Do you really think he will stop his industry from looking to increase trade? I don't.

Maybe so but I think there is more to it. I suspect that it will be impossible for the UK to align to two regulations and as such the EU will not allow their internal market to be compromised. Why else would there be a problem?

Who said there will be a problem?

Trump? Never taken too much heed of what he says to be honest.

Also been rumours (according to JC) that we've been talking to the Americans already over access to markets. Seems perfectly reasonable to me. Just part of the game.

Trump will be long gone anyhow before any deal is agreed.

I don't think it's a Trump issue as it's the integrity of the internal market that is at the centre of this. Presumably if we allow UK companies to import US products that do not align to the standards set by the EU then we can't have free trade in those areas. We will have to choose where the bigger prize is I suppose

True. But it's important to respect democracy though. If they have another referendum, and vote out, so be it.

Or perhaps we could ignore the will of the Scots in those circumstances.

Who cares about the will of the people of northern ireland

Bozo obviously doesnt

Shit deal

Worksop is a basket case, it never looked good when we stopped for a pint en route to Lincoln in 85.

My fear is the UK being hived off in to separate Countries.

Sensationalist Project fear bullshit.

Even if it happened, England has around 84% of the population and that would grow as folk got out of the other three.

Won't happen anyway. Not even the Scots will vote for separation - just like last time.

So the Union Jack and all the citizens who flew that flag will be no more, be a shame to see that happen.

Don't lose any sleep. Not happening any time soon.

Yeah, but then she opens her gob and transmogrifies into hideous witch...

I still would however, but only as an act of class warfare.

Really?

They've got an agreement that protects the recent historical agreements of peace. A fudge in some ways perhaps, but some benefits of both set ups.

And you forget: this isn't Boris's deal, it's every bit the EU's. Perhaps we should blame them?

Where's the deal Brexiteers told us time and again we'd have without any sweat that was as good as (or better than)  the one we currently have as members?

I know you don't like it when people point out things that are inconvenient. But they told us that the German car manufacturers wouldn't possibly let us lose SM benefits or access - they'd have something sorted in a month - on our terms. I'm asking over 3 years later - where is that deal that the likes of Gove, Boris and Patel said we'd get and anyone who suggested otherwise was "fear mongering"?
