I thought Cameron was decent I liked him. But I know fuck all about politics. I just go on if I can listen to them on the tele or not. And if they keep my taxes the same

I can understand that. But was a classic PR man, style over substance.

But fuck me, he looks like Abraham Lincoln compared to this bellend

I enjoy reading Marina Hyde, check her out, today she has written that the mere opening of Johnson's mouth should be seen as truth prolapse, Love it! She keeps winning columnist of the year etc. etc.

Did you used to post under a different name, fellow 'fan' 🤔

I’m pretty sure I know exactly why and what I said. Do you know why you said what you just said?

I just don't understand why someome would find the word "Directive" curious, and think it was something to do with the Soveit Union. It just made me wonder where that idea would come from. That's all.

Always been Dimron pal right from the pre social media days, loving throwing stones into self satisfied ponds and watching the ripples

Nah, despite looking smooth, he's got a bit of depth.

Barrister, QC, Director of Public Prosecution.

Pisses all over Cameron's pre MP CV.

Ok thanks. Links would be better but when I have time or the inclination, I’ll have a look.

Directive is a curious term. Generally used in the Soviet Socialist era. Has it now become common in EU parlance?

No problem. I’m not sure if the origin but directives are used in the same way we have Acts of Parliament.

The word directive itself is not curious. The way it is used is. A bit like ‘you people’ What does that mean?

In this case (Waste Framework Directive 1975 etc.), what do you find curious about its use?

If i was in a position to choose who to send over to Brussels to negotiate on my behalf Starmer would be top of the list, he uses his ears and mouth in the correct 2:1 proportion unlike that buffoon who actually went over and made a fool of us all.

Its a term used by those that believe they are superior to others.

It has never been used in an inoffensive manner.

Usually used in a racist manner. Sometimes it comes out in other forms  but as you say, it’s rarely inoffensive. The irony is, it’s usually lost on those people though.

In this case, I'm referring to people who think the word "Directive" when used in EU Legislation is curious and somehow associated with the Soviet Union. It's a very odd belief. I'm just trying to understand it. It's ok if you don't know why you said it.

Yasmin Alibhai-Brown uses the term these people quiet a lot when describing the good people of this country who took her family  and friends in when they were fleeing from Idi Amin was kicking them all out of Uganda in the 1970s
