Right, I've not paid any attention to any of this thread.

Can someone catch me up or is it like like coronation street, there's no way I'm ever watching it because I can't be arsed catching up on 60 years of tele

Basically some folk (you can guess who) think that all the (brown) immigrants that are being housed on barges should be allowed access to local towns without being processed. If you don’t agree then you’re basically in favour of imprisoning them.

Name the poster who said "immigrants that are being housed on barges should be allowed access to local towns without being processed."

Then have a look who's in charge of the Home Office, and actually made that scenario a reality.

Our local MP Chris Green is suddenly very active on social media.

After voting to let loads more sewage be flushed into UK waters, he’s determined to convince locals that he’s a great guy because he wrote a letter to someone about something.

Hes having a nightmare.

Potted next time.

He will be able to guess. So let’s get this right are you in favour of not?

Am I in favour of not doing what?

Of them being allowed to get off the barge and go into towns or would you rather they be kept on the boats until they’re processed?

Insufficient detail

How many decades will processing take?

I am in favour of neither. I've already clarified that several times. Goodnight. Enjoy your shift.

You said they had stopped before which was a lie.

Anyway there’s plenty of detail there. Should they be allowed or not or would you rather they stay on the barge? (The barge is only there for 18 months so your decade estimation is wildly incorrect and a case of you being dramatic again)

Why aren’t you in favour of them staying on the barge?

I think he clearly struggles with the complexity of these issues. He’ll be along shortly with another question though.

Read above. The barge is only there for 18 months, with those on board aiming  to be processed within 3-6. Try and keep up lad.

You can play with him

Hes getting paid, so Ill understand if you decide not to

Basically it comes down to this. If you think the barges with all the facilities they have are insufficient for them then you’re a bit of a fkin idiot.

If you think 100s of random men should be allowed to crack on in local towns before being processed then you’re also a bit of a fkin idiot.

Ill just let you have this foc

Last year, 900 folk a week crossed the channel

Thats 2 barges a week

45000 people in a year

And we processed 19k of em

Currently awaiting a decision, we have 150k

The only way that fucking barge is emptied is if Braverman decides to sink it

Well it’s only there for 18 month so they will be gone in that time.

I was outraged when they filled the metropole up in town.

Im near there most days a week and tbh never clap eyes on em bar them walking to a from school. Always make a point of saying morning, they all seem pretty friendly.

Not ideal obviously, it must be costing an absolute fortune to house them there. But most of em are just people born on the wrong bit of a map.

Granted this lot came over legally (I think)

Some of the schools I used to deal with had temporary portakabins as classrooms.

They been put there to last no more than 2 years whilst new classrooms were built.

Last I saw, some of these were still being used 20 years later.

We have form as a country for shitting our pants, then just squashing it around until it’s halfway up our backs.

These barges that are there for 18 months? Yeah.

I personally can’t see  how it’s cheaper to keep them on the barges than in a hotel.

And is the use of barges not down to cost rather than deterrent?

The EU agreement with Argies and other South American types to call the Falklands las Malvinas will be enough reason for a few to reaffirm Brexit.

Have you read the statement?

Not sure that’s way it will be seen on streets of Uxbridge and Benidorm. Anyone would think there were elections imminent.
