16 years ago I started at the council. 

Working as a member of 'streetscene' part of my time was spent clearing up places like this.

Not on this scale, but such places exist here in Bolton. 

That was 2004 onwards. Fuck all to do with any one party, but ridiculous immigration policies and a fear culture amongst authorities for calling it what it is.

We turned up in one back street where Eastern Europeans were burning their rubbish; kids toys the lot. Cleared everything from needles to bags of human shit, shit and spunk stained mattresses the fucking lot.

Not just foreigners I hasten to add, but predominantly. An utter subculture that has sprung up over ecent decades.

I recently chatted to a chap I know who is a market stall holder; he needs security/eyes peeled as Eastern European thieves regularly hit his stall- will unashamedly take whole sides of meat and drop them into bags and fuck off. Then play the no English card when stopped.

Its a fucked up place at times.

As you will see from other threads I try to fight (what I perceive to be) racism and other intolerant viewpoints, but this stuff suggests an awful subculture that appears to be tolerated by some local authorities- again the caveat being that all is as suggested. If so it’s utterly sickening and mind boggling; whataboutery is not just unhelpful, it’s disrespectful to these poor victims of an underage.

On the odd occasion we had nothing planned at work, we’d park the appliance up around the Victory area of Bolton and walk the back streets noting discarded rubbish; as you say, toys, old furniture, whole kitchens, rotting food waste, babies nappies. The Eastern European folk come with the attitude that our council boys will shift it because they don’t want their streets to become rat infested and so the council cleared the shit which showed the scruffs how their actions in tipping the crap was the correct thing to do. Fire Service got involved because we didn’t want piles of rubbish turning into nightly bonfires so the teams clearing the shit had to act quickly.

Strange that if I put so much as a securely tied bin bag out alongside my bin on bin day the good old bin men wouldn’t lift a finger to get shut by throwing it into the back of the truck.

And then weeks later when the bags were ripped open and shit strewn everywhere, we'd have to go in and collect it all up again.

Probably, but there was a case in India recently where 3 of them raped and murdered a woman (burned her iirc). Increase in rapes in the country too.
