You’d know

Not much else he can say in fairness. End of season will see ken wield his magic wand.

There will be plenty of time at the end of the season to look back and see what we can do better next season.

That sentence says to me Parkinson is on thin ice.

It says whatever you want it to say

It could say we won't sell our leading goalscorer

Ssssh, there are plenty on here who think we're better off with £6 million in the bank (or Ken's purse) and relegated than to have kept him.

Who has said that ? People have said we could not afford to turn down such silly money. No one knows if selling him would make difference between staying up and going down.

BTW I have said ‘knows’ not that someone thinks we would stay up with hiim.

Put it this way, every time his sale is mentioned following yet another game where the tactics used for a 6'5" player as for a 5'7" player we get the same folk ranting that it's all bollocks. I'd personally rather have the tall player who can handle a game of hoof-ball than watch the same hoof-ball but to a short player who struggles to play that tactic.

Nobody has ranted its bollocks.

Folk question why we still use that tactic.

We tried to sign kaymer but it didn’t happen.

We couldn’t afford to turn down £1 million for Madine never mind the reported £6m.

The point is, £1 or 6 million in the bank and relegated or fuck all in the bank and stay up. I really do think that was the choice 4 months ago. I know nobody had a crystal ball at the end of January but you really didn't need one when you're talking about selling our only way of scoring.

It was nothing about staying up or going down. It was about paying the bills. You know the bills nearly sent us under and still haven’t gone away?

That kind of offer for Madine was never, ever going to come again. It was absoloute daylight robbery.

We’ve been in the high court facing winding up orders about 20 times over the past two years and folk are questioning us taking the money?

I’d rather the club gamble on which division we play in next season than gamble on our existence.

We had no choice to take that kind of money.

Big fan of big gaz here. but gonzos right on this occasion. No way could we turn that money down.

Micky this is a little bit made up isn't it? ????

You can not ‘put it this way’ and make a totally different point.

2 facts. We do not know if we will get relegated and we do not know if we would have stayed up with him.

Any views on the subject are opinions and no body knows. ( 2 bonus facts for you)

I’m sure Ken said that the financial impact of being a championship club vs league 1 is +£5m, roughly the payment each championship club gets from the PL

So you could argue that we are financially better off selling him relegation or not! Granted that’s over a short term, say 18 months, but as has been said we may well have gone down anyway. For all we know he might have spat his dummy out if we had refused the move

It shows how big that fee was though in relation to our total income. In the last set of accounts our annual revenue was only something like £15m

Is it too late to proclaim that we should have kept Madine?

Can we please stop going on about Gary Fucking Madine.

Jesus Christ, it's tedious.

Who is Gary Madine? Do you mean the bit part player that Cardiff have warming their bench?

There view on him speaks volumes. It is very similar to that of many BWFC fans of him.
