Drama and jizz all over the place as Barnsley and Burton both draw and we stay up.

No he doesn’t!!!!!!

Correct, we scored 2 league goals in the month of January. 1-0 v Hull and 1-1 v Ipswich, both of them scored by Madine

Would love to be at this one. Mass celebrations as we perform a Houdini act and save ourselves.

This will be quite an achievement when you consider our appalling start to the season and having to cope with the transfer embargo.

Thank God you're here - we're shit - but we're not relegated yet!

No we’re not but it’s clear to anyone that’s watched this team that most of them don’t give a fuck and Forest with Karanka in charge will not be coming to the macron to lie down. I think the most likely outcome is us failing to win and inevitable relegation.

Not only for the obvious reasons but I hope we do it on Sunday, I’m openly not a fan of Parkinson but the guy is decent chap and would hate a toxic atmosphere towards him

We all know that team can put a shift in just need a Bristol, villa or Fulham like performance and we will win for sure

I still think regardless of league he needs to go but not under a barrage of hate

I’ve been a Parky fan but I agree regardless of what league we are in I think a change is needed.

Summed up well. Not one person on here wants us to go down.

Meeting a forest mate for this and he even wants us to win ha

Aye we'll be reet. We've got Ken picking the team this week with help from some pissed up fans on the train home from Burton

Surely Ken was in first class and did not mix with the riff raff.

If you trawl through the Burton match thread RUREADYTOROCK had a chat with Ken on the train home and told him the team was too defensive

Based on saturday we are fucked.

But just in case we must win

4 at back with Robinson and little full backs. No idea who at centre half.

Noone must start just because he tried. Ameobi just in case it is his one game in ten. Vela cos no other cunt can run. Pratley and Henry. Then Alf.

I would play 2 up front if we had 2.

I think we will beat Forest as long as we score first but it's a big ask to hope both Barnsley and Burton lose but here's hoping everything crossed.

Henry looks done to me. We need some legs in the centre. It's a gamble though

We only need them to draw....  Fear is that PNE roll over in the 2nd half if the other result is not going their way (although we need that result to be going against PNE)

wouldnt be surprised if Karacan comes back in. absolutely no other reason than hes been out in the cold for weeks and theres been about 50 examples of that this season from PP

We can stay up the bookies think so , they have more 'faith' than most on here.

It does not matter now what has gone before six months ago most of us would snatched the hand of anyone that promised a chance of survival on the last day.

We are shite we all know this so lets just give it one last go & forget the golf & taking the wife shopping & about what happens next season Its been gruesome at times but the support has been excellent now is not the time to wilt

We have all been here before it could be a crock of shite or it could be a turning point actually staying in this league.

COYW.

If that Obasi bloke is fit might as well chuck him in.

I'd play David Lee's championship winning team.

They can't do any worse than the supposed professionals have been.

I'm even more pissed off this year than I was 2yrs ago. We were on a hiding to nothing last time. But this year we gave ourselves a chance but the run in has been unacceptable by all measures.

Failure to beat the teams in and around us will be our Doom.

Failure to beat the teams in and around us will be our Doom.

also considering these teams are showing some fight & determination to beat other teams in the run in

whilst the score line wasnt as harsh on Saturday the performance was the same if not worse than Bristol City away when we went down. gutless

2 years ago we all knew we were doomed for months before the nail in the coffin. Getting so close to safety this time then blowing it is a real kick in the gonads. Sure, we're not doomed yet but I really don't see where the win comes from on Sunday. Hope to be so wrong

Thank God you're here - we're shit - but we're not relegated yet!

We must remain bastions of positivity sir. Too many defeatists on here for my tastes.

I took positives from Saturdays commentary clips on Gillette Soccer Saturday. "Bolton have started the brighter with the backing of a magnificent away support".

If only the prophets of doom could be overcome at the Macron and similar support be available at home.

When vela was right back he used to spend all the time demanding the ball and trying to build from the back.

Albeit a few times he got caught out. Mainly because no other player was on same wave length.

Get him in centre mid.

Get Burke in at centre back.

Get noone and ameobi on wings.

Build from there.

Hall upfront with me fondre.

Give the fans something to really get behind.

Having reflected a bit I do think there's more of a chance than I did at 5pm Sat.  A very slim one to be fair.

Brum could take a tonking and if we win by more than the odd goal that GD may go in our favour.   On paper you'd have to say Barnsley and Burton have the toughest games; unlikely they'd both win but possible both could lose or draw.  I know I'm stating the obvious but looking at it coldly (like the bookies will be doing) it's not that surprising they reckon we still have a chance.   The pressure is now on the other teams.  Score early and go at them and Forest may well decide to ease off a bit.

I'm a bit gutted I didn't stick a few quid on us to drop after the Villa game - to soften the blow.  Would seem odd betting against us though.

I'd imagine most folk are less than optimistic as they don't want to get hopes up then have them dashed as has been the case over the last few weeks.

I actually think Hall will start.

i'll remain hopeful until the final whistle goes. my biggest worry isnt whats going on everywhere else but us winning the game.

regardless of how we set up, who plays, the team looks broken. in confidence and desire. No one has anything about them to take the game by the scruff of the neck and take the rest with them

with the pressure riding on the game, Forest come out and knock the ball around for the first 15-20 minutes will get the fans backs up which actually then makes our players more nervous and hide more.

theres very little if any composure in the side so it will be very ugly. on & off the pitch very quickly
