  • We are playing 16/17 year olds, they are kids.  This is the right decision for the kids.

We aren't doing the free offer as a set of vultures, the majority of us that run the Colls are Bolton fans as many on here know, I personally got pissed of with it when Lennon and Megson were in charg

Piss poor. Just give Doncaster the win. The way they’ve (the club)conducted themselves it’s the least They deserve. Imo it shouldn’t be rearranged if the excuse is the kids not being safe. I fully get that but we’ve heard so much Bollocks it’s hard to believe anything.

Also are we going to do this every few weeks. Not discussing with Doncaster or football league is poor

So tickets valid for re-arranged game?

No season tickets being planned then??

Depends when (if?) the rearranged game takes place. But there’ll only be season tickets when there’s a sniff of us completing the season.

Aye, flagging it with the EFL first may allow us to discuss bringing in reinforcements

Cancelling it without telling anyone probably gets us in more trouble then we were already in

Which I don't supposes matters really

fuck them , they told us to "just get on with it" on Saturday , i'm glad we have took it as a brush off and are now making our own decision.

They were in the same position when itv digital went bump. and got told it were their fault when they sued whoever they sued. And they got £4 when they sued their own lawyers .

They must be dicks , so , we should do whats best for us.

the league could buy them , if they were that arsed. They wont even let us play Hobbs.

he's (anderson) not even there anymore , like the bury owner (i forget his name)  is, so i dont know what they want.

Yeah, fuck em, this season is a write off anyway

He does ramble on a bit does the chess bloke but he's right

If we said we couldn't go on back end of last week and they ignored us, why would we have expected anything different from them today

And I'm not a fuck the efl bloke

A few what?

Nixon does seem rather cheered by the turn of events.

I’m struggling to see why.

Yep.

And with no completion it drags on longer, giving him more visits, followers etc

He's back to his usual transfer speculation bollocks once our race  has run.

Why did they leave it so late in the day to cancel? & also not inform the EFL or Doncaster first? These Admins have been Admins of other football clubs, so surely they must know something about the proper way to go about cancelling the game?

I'll stick my tinfoil hat on & question whether the decision might have been little to do with 'care of duty' & maybe financial due to poor ticket sales. If it was purely care of duty, the decision could have been made in the morning & in the proper way surely?

The problem is all trust is gone with these chaps and you don’t know what to believe?

What ever happened to JME from cowgills

Is he in the doghouse

I wonder now if he was played by rubins

They're currently not covering themselves with glory

As for tomorrow, maybe FV have said they arent covering any losses

And why would they when you've got folk telling em to fuck off and if they're feeling stitched up by admins, be it hotel or club...or both

While I normally would agree on that. FV haven’t/won’t do anything and it’s becoming tiresome

Surely the precedent was set with Brentford last season and we have to give them the points ?  Likewise I can’t understand why bury don’t have to forfeit their missed games.

the longer this goes on, the worse the situation appears for us and the more problems the efl are stacking up, (including that of bury and now Macclesfield with no wages being paid)

will we decide to play Saturday as everyone will have had a weeks rest ? If we aren’t going to play, then we need to give them more notice than the day before surely (animosity regarding the Barry knight semi aside......)

That decision may be taken out of our hands by the efl.

Its a complete mess.

I e-mailed that Paul Appleton a couple of weeks before the start of the season and got a balanced response back from one of his sidekicks. Sent another one tonight which is very much critical of their performance so far; wonder if they respond this time. Tossers

And every email they respond to they bill to the club as part of their admin fees.

The difference was that the Brentford match was the last piece in the season's results. The impact of the result happened to be nil.

This time the easy way out is to cancel our results a handful of matches in, unfortunately.

If we’re talking precedents, did Tranmere get any punishment in our 4th division days when they couldn’t afford to stage the game against us? Found some form and beat us 2-0 IIRC when it was re-arranged

Struggling to see why someone would email an administrator

If someone has the time and inclination, maybe sign up to the Doncaster Forum and put them straight. They are full on slagging off BWFC, yet it was the Administrators who called the game off. They are going on about the Average age of our squad compared to Barnsleys at the weekend etc. They are talking about we could have bought some players, blah blah blah. For me, they can have the three points they are bleating on about. It's not important to us. I do feel sorry for their fans who took time off work etc, but the same has happened to us before, Tranmere called off just before kick off. we drove to Leyton Orient one year only to find out the game had been called off a few hours before kick off etc, so it's not the end of the world for them.

Should never have called the game off, but "arranged" for the sprinkler system to malfunction flooding the pitch an hour before kick off, leaving the ref with no option but to postpone.

Admins seem to have been too honest here.

That presumes the water bill has been paid

Can still sign free agents who aren't attached to a club.

There's millions of them...

I’d doubt it we’d be fishing in the out of contract player pool.

Did anyone wonder why these players are out of contract?
