My NHS planner mate told me a few weeks ago that each Trust takes its own patients in, so 🤷♂️

We'll have to wait and see the official hospitalisation data in a few days. Hopefully its low.

Site Supporter Spider Posted September 4, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2020 Nephew tells me there’s been more positive tests amongst their wider circle of acquaintances today. To be fair, they are all isolating and playing the game regards tracing. Tense fortnight ahead in the parish.

Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 4, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2020 Thing is, it was announced a little while back that the focus would change to these new testing machines to increase speed, accuracy and capacity. Towns like ours with big spikes are inevitably going to suck in testing facilities as they look to prevent major escalation. Not right that a handful of folk have been directed along way, but some facilities were stood down through lack of use. Sadly typical that these few are highlighted given positive steps made generally.

Ive just looked back through the records, can't see a day with more than 4 admissions in 1 day, even in the middle of tbe peak.

The nearest locations tend to vary on a day-to-day basis, presumably as a result of allocating staff to more "at-risk" areas as and when required. I've had to book two tests within a few days of each other. The first time, there were slots available at the old Moor Lane bus station, the second time the nearest drive-through test centre was in Blackburn, and the nearest walk-in facility was in Middleton. If They're right and hospitalisation goes up a lot, as someone has claimed it already has, then Bolton is going to be top of the pops for the govmt to reintroduce more restrictions. Hope it goes down. I've seen a few pics on twitter of a bwfc fan with covid in hospital today, and twitter is full of stop lockdown in bolton adverts. They're worried. I know him from away games. Good lad, likes a drink and he’s a true Wanderer.

A pretty decent availability then. As you say, perhaps reflecting the high case areas.
