I'm sure Parents can keep 2m apart around a footbal pitch, it may keep some from snotting the referee because their little Timmy got tackled, although I'm sure some will still be giving the usual abuse!

Seriously though, no parents ???  would that not create a safeguarding issue, leaving a load of 11 year old kids with Barry Benall types 🤨

Yes talk of a venue we use in rochdale saying parents must wait in cars, it’s bollocks as it won’t happen what they should say is one parent per child

I know you did. This is from the MEN, not a Sussex MP.

Yes but tests are available locally but the MEN choose not to report that.

"I guess it depends what day / time you try the website. It will always try and find you a same day test even if it is a distance away."

Youngest lads team has a 1 parent per player rule currently ( u10) including visiting teams at home but nothing if playing away . no restrictions in the others and both played a few Pre season and due to start the season proper tomorrow.
cant see the waiting in cars being adhered to, well, not til it gets to winter anyway, might be a popular rule then 😁

One is fair enough every week some families tip up with 4/5 (parents, siblings, grandparents etc) and it does get congested.

Bottom of this it says “ amateur team sports advised to be suspended “ so no rule just advice ? God knows if we are going to kick off tomorrow, shouldn’t really I suppose

Just to put this into perspective, the UK is doing approx 180,000 tests a day. One bloke tells the MEN that because he couldn’t get a test at 8.30 am on a Thursday morning but he could get one in Wales because they had an available slot at that time it’s worthy of a Manc newspaper headline and a mention on WW. Manchester or Sussex. Just the same.

thing with the first two is not many Bolton teams in it so business as usual , not heard from cpl yet but not due to start until next week in any case

See Breightmet utd have just suspended all activities for all ages however

In one. Be uproar if the web site said no tests available today within 10 or 20 miles of your address.

I'll be surprised if grass roots footy doesn't get binned in Bolton by lancs FA soon. I've been to a few matches in last fortnight. V little distancing from spectators going on.

Girl I know had to take her daughter to Dundee for a test 130 mile journey.   Is what it is. You need a test you go where one is available or wait.

What does a severe lockdown mean for Bolton folk ? It's all a bit confusing.

It means people will moan louder than normal but continue to ignore everything.

Said it before, they’ll be throwing roadblocks up around the town by October.

It's not even Winter yet, this is serious shit.

I’m up on the West coast of Scotland.

My God, Sturgeon has got all her puppies trained.

No bar service at all & no cash transactions.

Sick to death of sanitising, giving out my number & standing on dots, in empty bars.

Weve got it good in England, believe me.
