I actually attended that parrot sanctuary that was mentioned on another thread. It’s off Warley Rd. Their roof blew off in the storms. Fortunately all of the birds were caged up. 🦜 Quote

With due deference of course to the poor, unfortunate sick and departed, been OK for me. Yep, 80% salary and 80% working hours but long weekends every weekend in the glorious Perth autumn have been well received. Caught up on loads of jobs which had built up - plenty of tinkering with scooters on the bike lift (which is always a glorious pleasure - can't beat a bit of engine oil for the complexion). Don't like meithering fuckers at the best of times so been nice and peaceful on that front. Missing the football of course but the horse racing is still under way down here so having a punt relatively successfully each Saturday, beach every weekend, making plans for a property move in Spain and plenty of other stuff to fill my time with. My worst year of my life from a personal perspective was a few years back. Don't even want to remember some of that shit. From a global perspective, yes - probably the worst year I have lived through. Quote

Highly recommended, great pair of lads run it 👍🏻 Thought of that parrot gaff watching this other the day Quote

It's for tips for when I get my own (hacienda, not chateau - Spain not France) - there is a really petite posh blonde woman on it though, she's more up my street, I'd play Mellors to her Lady Chatterley. Her poshness adds much to her allure. She looks lovely, but she also looks like she could be a little mental. Quote

Proper posh as well I bet you get a belting tea and biscuits after. Oh, she just does posh bird stuff, like making the wee bloke in the tartan do loads of skivvying around. She needs a firm pair of hands of working-class stock as an antidote to all the chinless wonders she's no doubt been knocking about with all her life. I'm no stranger to the world of art either, best of both worlds for her. Maybe I'll send her a self-portrait nude in crayon and see where it leads? Quote

Ended in marriage to Mel Sykes for one young chancer iirc... Not that it'd bother me but I reckon' the lesser endowed probably get shoved (by the girl) into the Weinstein file, possibly reported, whereas your larger lad is considered a potential groom. I best dust off my tifter and morning suit then... Quote

MancWanderer Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Sad year just gets sadder in the Manc household. Just found out that my uncle (Dad’s youngest brother) died last night. Fair fucks, the ex-marine commando lasted 91 years. My mum is now the last one alive from her generation of my mum and dads brothers and sisters and their husbands and wives. Really has been a shit year. Time to dust off the black suit again.... Quote
