I listened to that too.  Top bloke and interesting fella.  Lived in 43 houses apparently, doesn't buy, just rents.

Going off topic but I listened to the Stuart Pearce chat in the same series, expecting to turn it off after 5 minutes, but he's another I could have listened to all day coz of his enthusiasm, attitude and humility.

It's funny how wrong perceptions can be. Listened to a Carlton Palmer podcast expecting him to be a bit of a knob but he's a really sound bloke.

3-2 Win.

3-0 up then give away two howlers and shit myself for 20 mins.

not played for two weeks and i think they were pretty much thrown together just before the start of the season.

Not underestimating them,  but wont be surprised if they are blowing through there arses last 30

Pearce was a sparky early on iirc, probably gave him a reasonable grounding and made him appreciate what football gave him.

I think he used to advertise his services in the matchday programme during his early playing career.

2-0, confidence high after last weeks vital win.

Part owner too, isn't he?

Adam Richman of Man v Food fame is a shareholder.

3-1 Doyle Hatrick

My first ever game was against these, 6-1 at Burnden in 96.

Don't really remember the game, I was only 3, just remember being around the place and stood on the terraces.

So a recreation of that would be nice.

Does the 2nd game of the season count?

If so, I'm guessing when we played Bristol City in 18/19 after we'd beat West Brom

Maybe one or two games after

But nothing since then

Ian's Trotters 2

Ian's Mariners 1

Last minute winner from Senior.......

Surprisingley, its as recent as last year.  6th April 2019, 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich, and we were still above them after losing.  We had loads of games that season against teams below us coz of our great start, it took us a few months to sink to the bottom 3, we still had a fighting chance staying up at Christmas after we beat Rotherham.

My favourite put down as a kid was 'yer mam smells like grimsby docks' so for that reason

7-3

Santos (og) hat trick for them
