You don’t need to starve children to bring justice to Hamas.

That video is fckn awful & as the doctor says, it’s a direct result of the blockade.

The culprits are clear. Israel have the means to the ensure those children aren’t malnourished. But they have deliberately chosen to punish them alongside Hamas.

Up there with the worst of humanity.

Cue the apologists & deflections;

But Hamas stole aid.

It’s not a proper famine

Hamas started it

Terrorist sympathisers

Grief junkies

Whatabout other wars?

Any more?

You forgot “collateral damage” and “Isreal has a right to defend itself”.

Whatever your views on it are we can't be having kids starving to death can we?

No. Absolutely not. Hasn't stopped Hamas stockpiling for themselves though has it?

The Israelis could literally walk into an orphanage with flame throwers and some people wouldn't bat an eyelid.

quite rightly, as Hamas might be hiding there

You do know you’re not doing yourself any favours posting more 7/10 footage?  Everyone on here condemns that.  Everyone on here finds it repulsive/appalling.  Everyone on here thinks Hamas are evil.  Ok?

Now, about these babies and children being indiscriminately starved and bombed to death by Israel.  The collective punishment of civilians by Israel. The genocide being committed by Israel.  Everyone on here bar one or two notable folk condemns this as well.

Anything to add? You can say both are wrong you know.

Whilst the other lot deny it.

Meh.

No doubt the reality lies somewhere between the two.

Strangest part of it all for me, is why so many seem to get so worked up and "invested" in this conflict, yet barely a whisper about the numerous others the world over.

Ukraine does get some coverage, obviously, but even that is far less than this.

Which other conflicts around the world do you think people should be getting worked up about?

Tis a strange one. I mentioned it before, maybe it’s because of a certain religion doing the killing?

Wouldn't like to speculate.

Israel had to create an iron dome system of self defence, to resist many years of almost continuous rocket attacks.

All very quiet.

It's far from a perfect country, with plenty of its own extremists, but it's been under attack since its creation.

An unsettled region well before.

We've gone over this history many times, but it seems that there is a shift in tone from a good number now.

I don’t know what you mean.  Do you mean why I/others were worked up on 7/10 with the Hamas atrocity? Or do you mean recent/today’s atrocity at the aid centre? For clarity I’m equally worked up by both - religion doesn’t come into it.

Impossible. If you question the actions of the IDF, you're an anti-semitic terrorist-sympathiser.

The thread is titled "Meanwhile in Israel", you numpties. If you think people should be discussing a different "conflict", you can easily start a new thread about it.

I think you have both (unsurprisingly) have missed @Tonge moor green jacket point

Not missed anything my friend.  Didn’t think I needed to spell anything out….but for reassurance my tone hasn’t shifted on anything (wrt Israel/Gaza), and I’m equally appalled by any atrocity committed globally by any armed group on innocent civilians…..(as Cheese says we can debate those in other threads if needed).
