Triple vaxed (just about). 

I blame wandering round Ninewells hospital for about 3 hours with a bunch of anti-mask, anti-vax covididots. Either that or it's from my sister (district nurse) who has also got it (again)

Seems this omicron is very mild compared to delta so it looks like staff shortages and concentrated hospital cases in one locale may well be an issue rather than a mass influx of cases nationwide. Hope so anyway, because we've made our choice and we take our chances now.

Just tried to book a pcr test (hoping the LFT’s I’ve done are false positives).

There are none available at all.

So either every fucker has it or they’ve just decided to pot the whole thing.

LFTs rarely give false positives if you are doing them correctly.

The walk in place at Chorley was accepting those without appointments earlier this week, not sure of still the case.

I still don’t think restrictions are anything other than a very final resort.

Not having tests available though is pathetic for the outlay.

I happen to know that a UK based company are begging the government to let them supply tests, and were even given a grant as part of T&T to do so, but are being ignored. It’s fucking bizarre.

Miami will be going mental as it’s a company I know he was heavily invested in.

When I couldn’t get any LFTs on Tuesday just drove to the local PCR walk in. Two folk in front, one behind. One behind had booked and jumped the queue. Reckon it was 20 mins from parking the car to leaving. No issues over here. Spending and organising well. When all the chemists that had been shut opened up on Wednesday got myself a box of LFTs.

Obviously they’ve spent the whole £300 billion in Oldham and Tameside
