Winchester White Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 For those of you who like to follow the science, this is a very interesting thread. Slightly worrying if her outlook is correct although some could say she is being overly pessimistic. Quote
ErnestTurnip Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Busy as fuck at the jab centre at Avondale tonight, wife's going to have to walk home in the pissing down rain if they don't crack on because I'm not missing the start of the darts. Quote
Spider Posted December 30, 2021 Author Posted December 30, 2021 It’s finally got me. It feels like a strangle wank. Quote

And that data is starting to look shaky now. Which is shit. Quote

I blame wandering round Ninewells hospital for about 3 hours with a bunch of anti-mask, anti-vax covididots. Either that or it's from my sister (district nurse) who has also got it (again) Quote

Winchester White Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 Seems this omicron is very mild compared to delta so it looks like staff shortages and concentrated hospital cases in one locale may well be an issue rather than a mass influx of cases nationwide. Hope so anyway, because we've made our choice and we take our chances now. Quote

So either every fucker has it or they’ve just decided to pot the whole thing. Not bad for £300billion Quote

Not bad for £300billion LFTs rarely give false positives if you are doing them correctly. The walk in place at Chorley was accepting those without appointments earlier this week, not sure of still the case. Quote

Anyway, no point folk complaining about numbers but advocating staying 'open' and going out socialising. Maybe some extra restrictions will be on the way. But then the tin foil and dinosaur brigades will be up in arms. Quote

Not having tests available though is pathetic for the outlay. I happen to know that a UK based company are begging the government to let them supply tests, and were even given a grant as part of T&T to do so, but are being ignored. It’s fucking bizarre. Miami will be going mental as it’s a company I know he was heavily invested in. Quote

Not bad for £300billion When I couldn’t get any LFTs on Tuesday just drove to the local PCR walk in. Two folk in front, one behind. One behind had booked and jumped the queue. Reckon it was 20 mins from parking the car to leaving. No issues over here. Spending and organising well. When all the chemists that had been shut opened up on Wednesday got myself a box of LFTs. Obviously they’ve spent the whole £300 billion in Oldham and Tameside Quote
