Covid-19

Slow news day, or end of the world?

”Aggressive” new variant has landed in Moscow. Makes people, even those that have been vaccinated, more poorly than previous types.

Time for Uncle Joe to push the button? Short term pain.

Long covid

Seems it’s a thing.

Im having a few days where my lungs feel like a pair of rusty old bellows. Assumed that was my age.

But my lad is now saying he’s fucked after 40 minutes at football, before Covid he could run all night and barely notice.

Shit is what it is.

It doesn't sound very pleasant. When did you catch the bat lurgy?

It honestly took me the best part of 12 months to fully get over it, even now, almost two years later, I have days when I get out of breath very quickly. It's all a bit shit

Just before new year.

I’ve never smoked, but some days feel like I’ve done 60 a day since I was 15.

Sounds fun!

We've just come back from Bello-mondinio, and Althams in Bolton booked our day 2 home tests. Came out at £16 apiece originally, but with Althams discount code it reduced to £3.98 for the two. We got two of them free tests, and no further instructions. What is the point of that ?

Didn't you work in The Alma pre-smoking ban?

You probably passive smoked thousands.

Ask Roy Castle.

Via Clinton Baptiste.

He was on Newsround once when I was a kid (Castle not Baptiste) and his big C had returned and he was obviously in the 'anger' stage, he went on a Keegan-esque rant, it was quite peturbing for a kids' show.

Well, if you're going to have a rant, dedication's what you need.

I see what you did there, it was very unnerving - he had a look in his eye like a man angry at his inevitable fate and as someone who'd never smoked but blew his trumpet, he went on an epic Hitler-like rant at 5pm on kids' telly, it put me right off Grange Hill and put us off the spliff some other people were smoking, not me and my mate, others.

Selfish fucker (Castle).

Passive smoking was actually indirectly responsible for me once ending up with my ballbag coated in Febreze. Which almost caused third degree burns.

I dipped my nob in Listerine once on the indirect advice of Tom Jones - he claimed it dulled your nob and improved staying power, it smarted a bit and didn't work.

He used to shag about but have you seen the state of his wife, she favvers his mam.

Didn't a poster once said they'd put Veet on their ballsac and chemical burned it?

Now that's funny.

Leave the audience wanting more.

I have shaved my balls for the last 20 years and never had a nick.

I would have thought lady bits would be easier?

What about waxed?

Because the missus best mate said her boyfriend did for her and the missus liked the idea. So I did it and we both liked the end result.

Most folk groom these days, I was just ahead if the curve 😎

If you have a reasonably lengthed knob, your curly bollock beard shouldn’t be an issue. 😀
