How the fuck do you end up supporting Reading and Bolton?

Have a cousin who moved to reading in the mid seventies and started watching them, think they played there home games on a Friday night in those days. He’s a wanderers fan and don’t think he watches them any longer.

He got us out of league one, kept us in the Championship against the odds & only really failed when the ship was sinking financially. Yes he was a little direct & predictable, but I wish

I normally fuel off other teams hatred but I can’t get past Riou being a living fruit😂

Meh.

A very bitter, sore looser.

Wenger's teams were always virtuous of course, with no gamesmanship, and no one getting sent off.

They probably will do us, but it won't mean a thing in the overall scheme of things.

Aye. Remember Campo out for a few months after a really bad Abou Diaby challenge. Probably a red these days.

Was nt it a red back then ? In the game we were 2 up and lost 3-2 ?

Let's not forget Gallas' lunge at Mark Davies' ankle either

Remember going to Highbury in our relegation season under Todd. Think we gave a decent account of ourselves despite being beaten (4-1?). Walking away from the ground and hearing some cockerny wanker slagging us off, saying how he couldn't believe people watched such shite. Always remembered him with a wry smile everytime we turned them over. Hope he was thoroughly pissed off.

Was on Steinsson IIRC

He was orchestrating that game. I suspect it was no accident

Nah we won 1-0 in the FA Cup.

I was thinking of the Steinson one he did get a red for

Aye,  That was the best Mark Davies ever played for us, completely running the game & he was deliberately taken out. IIRC we didn't even get a free kick & Arsenal scored while he was still down.

Arsenal fans cheered as he was carried/taken off & he never really recovered from it. Tossers.

... & their defence used to target Diouf. The keeper dropping like a sack of shit after a face-off engineered by him.

Lehmann iirc. Very early. FA Cup.

Was 1-2, last game of season. Todd scored.

Surely relegation under Todd was Chelsea away last game ?

the 4-1 was where Wright broke Arsenals scoring record (we missed our goal due to going to wrong tube station)

Was thinking of the first relegation :D

Stop mixing up our 90s relegations please.

First one was a relief when Southampton put us out of our misery.

Chelsea game was brutal. Was gutted for weeks after. Stopped me being a top shagger for at least a few weeks

If I'm remembering correctly, that game saw of the worst substitutions I've ever seen a Bolton manager make.

Campo was at right back, with Danny Guthrie in front of him.

The latter's running kept their full back honest and also made it more difficult for their left hand side to double up and target Campo.

We were looking good.

Then Guthrie was taken off.

Immediately, they doubled up on Campo and the rest is history.

Don't hate any team but these lot come close.  Most entitled fan base going IMO.

Going back to that unfunny, lispy, mop headed cunt Alan Davies slagging us off when we beat them to the time they spent a majority of the game at ours singing 'we pay your benefits' I can only hope they are jamming the radio phone lines again Thursday.

I’ve never liked Arsenal. Nor Alan Davies

Used to love how much we bullied Arsenal.

Went to Highbury and the Emirates shortly after. Nolan's goals will live long in the memory.

Different times now though & not a team that gets bullied anymore. Tomorrow will be tough. A great trip for everyone going down though.

I remember that.

Along with that fat nonce West Ham fan who writes for the Daily Heil
