Nice bloke who got us promoted. So he deserves a nice reception from us.

God awful football though.

I do recall winning 4-0 at Gillingham though and we played some great stuff

however the highlights just make it look like we give it to Morais to whip a cross in (bar the last chance)

Scored four goals in three successive away games IIRC

I assume one was Oxford away on sky but don't recall the other

4 assists for Morais, incredible. What we'd do for that kind of threat from corners - they're like freebie goals

Have we ever had a more impactful January signing than him?

Double figures assists and a couple of goals to help get us promoted

Great signing

I dunno, that last minute winner from Dapo was pretty damn good 😃

Missed that one at RLWC Final but still had limbs when 6 of us for a simultaneous Flashscore notification for the goal

Youri wasn’t a bad January addition either.

Still remember walking through the town centre with the missus and seeing the evening news headline about Youri joining, bought the paper and just read it flabbergasted, just an amazing feeling for people who'd seen the darker days. Hard to explain now but we were signing a world superstar, someone who would regain his place in the France team on the strength of his Bolton performances. Campo remains my favourite player but Youri was a bigger coup.

Me and @Steejaycan vouch for that :)

Hard work trying to wrestle a juiced/coked up buffalo off a load of celtic fans on a packed home terrace.

This Youri was the start of a great period in Bolton Wanderers an absolute winner and I agree Campo was my favourite an absolute legend, I remember his first few games as CB he was way too slow but once he became our DM he was brilliant.

Off the top of my head, that last ten minutes alone was probably one of the best away periods of the last few years.

Mendes gomes scored a belter for Fleetwood too that game.
