I remember a Spanish being approx 7-8" long and approx 8mm diameter but the end couple of inches were flat and iirc had a bit of raised lettering on the flat bit ( might have imagined that) and they were indeed very hard and you rarely if ever ate a whole one.

You would normally buy a bag of kaylie to accumpampany the Spanish, rainbow was the preferred option but plain yellow or pink American cream soda were also available, again rarely finished as yer teeth had gone by this stage.

Like eating a dried dog turd. Anyone who eats liquorice based food is a massive queer. Sherbet Dips are the early example of glittering a turd

Holmes insisted the meat dish was laced with dog sex pheromones.

And that the veggie dish was doused in catpiss (feline urine, not shit beer)...

He can't hack a fair contest, hence his Urinal 'support'.

The fat, póitin alcy Irish womanbeating twister...

A friend of mine and MrsD’s owns and runs a plant-based vegan food delivery/takeaway kitchen based at Bradshaw Cricket Club. We occasionally eat there; burgers, hot dogs, calamari, chilli con carne, etc.

Two things:

Why do vegans like to dress their plant based food to look like the animal based stuff?

Why does it taste so bloody good? Seriously, try some sometime, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Will it be open Saturday when the fireworks are on? I fancy giving it a try.

I've got a hankering for real chip pan chips and egg now.

Not had that in about twenty odd years, In the Pat-a-Cake Cafe in Farnworth.

Is that still there?

What about the one in the precinct, near B&M Bargains and those poured concrete 'sculptures'?

Yes, well I have a pan, not a dedicated chip pan - but a heavy bottomed one that could be pressed into service as one.

Only tramps have Deep Fat Fryers.

They coat kitchens in a scuzzy film.

Disgusting.

I made fish croquettes about 2015, that's the last time I deep fried owt.

Air fryers. Upper class tramps. They are ace

So you get about ten or twelve meals of deep fried muck before your kitchen is coated in a tacky thin film of grease, instead of one...

I bet they're shite an' all.

No way are you doing 'real' chips or battered fish in one, no chance.

They'd scale them up for Chip Shops if they were any good, with the price of cooking oil...

I want one. But its finding space to hide the fucker in the kitchen

Why would you hide it?

So it doesn't look like it's Alfabites and Turkey Dinosaurs every teatime in Chez Blondie?

(And mushy peas - a five-a-day side)...

Nope. They are good

Jacket potatoes. Fucking awesome. No oil added

The few times we have bacon or sausages far less fumes than a pan or grill

Crispy onions and other assorted veg

Oil isn’t compulsory. Maybe they should be renamed as air-crispers so that folk don’t presume they chug out more oil than the local kebab shop

Just mentioned that on the Wiggin thread.  It does look good the stuff they're offering if a little hard on the arteries.  What did you have?
