Marine v Atherton Colls in the FA Cup for me Doesn’t that justify the existence of B teams more though? Id never tell anyone not to go to a wanderers game but as a few have mentioned I’ll not be watching even if they came and played in the field near my house. They won’t go away with this B agenda. A club folds during the season and I think that will be the inroad Traf beat me too it. Edited October 4, 2021 by tomski

Members Rudy
I’d be resting Santos,Jones,John, MJ,Dapo Sarc at least for this one. Get Baka out there for a half at least
Take Hunt Off
Definite no show from me , can’t encourage ‘B’ teams participation in any way shape or form . Its been a dead duck from day one but the big boys will keep pushing it unfortunately,

Traf
here we go... from https://www.efl.com/papa-johns-trophy/the-competition/rules/ 7.3 Each EFL Club shall play its Full Available Strength in and during all Matches. Full Available Strength means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet. Traf
7.4 Qualifying Player means any Player who: 7.4.1 had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below); 7.4.2 subsequently starts the immediately following First Team Fixture; 7.4.3 is in the list of ten Players at the Club with the highest number of starting appearances in First Team Fixtures in the same Season; 7.4.4 has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or 7.4.5 is on standard loan from a Premier League Club or any EFL Club operating a Category One Academy. Traf
So not quite as strict as it was a couple of seasons, but you still can't just play the kids.
Members Rudy
Fair play to them, didn’t think it was possible to make the competition any shitter, yet here we are

London Wanderer
Absolute joke. The top clubs can play their kids but if we do the same then it's a fine. Would like to see a unanimous boycott from more clubs and managers. They can't fine everyone.

I was just thinking it would make the comparison a bit more stark if we got 4,000 against Vale and 400 against Liverpool U21s, particularly as the U21s have been in it for a few years now and the general boycott doesn’t seem to be making much difference on that front. Yep, that's what I was alluding to further up. A double whammy for those with smaller squads. Might be players in the previous matchday squad, not sure exactly, but there are some rules to that effect.

Presume some games would potentially clash with Prem 1st team fixtures so not likely to commit to using the stadium for these joke games.
