Xmas Dinner

What we having?

Sister in law (modest handful) and her fella split, in-laws in France, so it's just the five of us at home. If I'm honest, I can't really be arsed; it's an early Sunday dinner, and will have all the fannying around without the extra gifts and booze.

Anyway, kids want turkey. They didn't have mash last year, and tbf I didn't miss it; however they insist. The wife usually asks for gammon, and that's my usual contribution to a family meal. I'm looking forward to making gravy, semifredo etc in advance. Go forth good folk of WWays; inspire me with your festive fayre

@Whitestar

Tagging you back in... 🤣

Look!, It was a slow day, about 3:45 i have a quick look at W/W and clock an innocent thread about Christmas dinners, gets me thinking about what i would normally have and (here's the mistake) before i know it I've posted my thoughts.

Well, i wasn't to know i would stir up such bitterness and unrest amongst the supporters of this (and i used to think) my football club.

So thank you for making me feel like that woman that has just resigned for having a bit of a do with cheese n wine.

Which is why occasionally pea wet is what you go for

To many queers on here doubting the value of scraps and pea wet. Go and move in with @Not in Crawleyand see what delicacies you get down there

Excuse me, I love scraps and pea wet.

You are right though, London is completely bereft of any decent takeaways, restaurants, delis, markets, cafes, specialist eateries, street food stalls....

It was the Mexicana that was the final nail in the coffin.

I'd really rather not.

Two crates of Stella and some pressed paper tablets soaked in vet graded ketamine.

And a chicken kebab.

Then why do all you soot schnozzed tossers subsist on 'Pret'?

Greggs is busier than pretty at Kings Cross.

I do like their ham and pickle sandwich though.

Because of all the 'rough trade' no doubt.

Willing to overlook a Paedophile owns it for a cheap sausage roll in a rat infested dump.

I saw a film t'other night - 'Daphne' it summed up how transplanted Londoners are twats (not you).

I don't disagree, thankfully its big enough to dilute a multitude of arseholes. Most of my mates down here are Londoners or Spanish oddly enough. Actual Londoners are usually ok and are hapy to take the piss out of themselves.

Although, for balance, I know a lot of northerners who were total wankers as well.

Nonsense - anyone from the North is salt of the earth and would give you their last pound.

There are no Londoners in fackin' London anymore.

Does she die at the end with Des at her bedside?

80's style - that shit was so puddle-jumpy.

This filum she mainly got wankered, snorted chan and got bummed by randomers - a typical transplanted Lahndeners tale.

Plain Jane Superbrain - 'kin ell - looks about 60.

Ada Nicodemou off the other one got dressed up in a school uniform - the dirty mare, broken glass tackle still.

Edit: rules.

I know. You quite rightly espouse northern delicacies. I was referring to London rather than you 😀
