  • I just want my lad to witness a promotion. Don't really care what happens or who plays for us after that. I definitely will in the future, but the absolute focus has to be to get out of this mind-numb

  • I disagree. His BWFC years were some of his greatest and happiest of his career. His latest SSN documentary piece highlighted this, as does countless footage of his wonder, his PFA nominatio

Is Arfield injured again, or should we be preparing ourselves for a deregistration?

I would be happy for him to just lose his pass for the stadium

I'm hoping he agrees to have his contract ripped up.

Baxter and Dion played injured last season too.

Then you have Northern Ireland dragging dion around Europe when he was out injured so there medical team could assess him and playing toal  when he was concussed 3  days later and sending him back fucked

Was he injured or ill ? I can't imagine an injured player being called up..

So why didn't he put him on then?

Doubt many saw it as a joke.

Yeah, I think they did it with Toal as well, last year.

If it wasn't intended as a light-hearted comment, it wouldn't have been said

It's really nothing

  • 4 weeks later...

Etete out for up to 6 weeks send him back .

Send the bugger back.

Pointless signing fuck him back off to Cardiff.

He got injured in the warm up. Hardly Markham's fault.

He was injured before he came here wasn't he ?  Only played 45 minutes this season or summat.

Aye.

Those injuries weren't Markham's fault neither, so that's alright- just sign him any road!

Absolute mongy signing.

When did Forino get injured?

How many times has Dempsey been injured, same with Baxter

Desmond out half a season before he played..........Gomes is another......Williams has now gone to Orient but another injured more than he played.

Suppose these had nothing to do with Markhams recruitment

I was all in favour of JDB being released in May because he was injury prone (only made 46 appearances last season the crock) and we were going to sign a younger, faster, fitter model that would score more and lead the line better.  Keeping him would have been a sign we were settling for standing still.

What we wouldn't give to have stood still in the forward department.  With about an extra million in our pocket for summer recruitment.  Incredible that we've allowed this lack of physicality and height up front to have happened, and as I say no problem with letting JDB go - if there was a plan to replace him.

Indeed. We should get Mystic Meg in charge of recruitment.

Maybe a clue is that all those i have named had bad injuries in the last 12 months at their previous clubs

No need to be Mystic whatsoever

We Even signed Southwood with a broken leg.......you could not make it up!!

In fairness, it can be a risk worth taking.

Desmond is quality, and could prove very useful to us.

Dempsey is also a fine player.

I don't think the coaching approach previously has helped, but if they contribute to us getting up the leagues then great.

This Etete fella is a loan though.

No games, no form and only a few months here.

We're getting fuck all out of him being here.

Or, was it a Parting gift from Evatt, as he saw his reign coming to an end. :)
