Looking at a long girls weekend witht the girls in Albufeira. Close to bars and restaurants and not a shit hole. Im 35 now the 1* holiday apartments are a thing of the past. Anyone any recommendations?

When we went through T2 last week they were training people which was causing issues. 

My bag got pulled through the scanner.....waited.....waited......waited.....waited.....to find out the bag hadnt had the picture taken so had to go back. Fucking useless

Birmingham is as bad if not worse. Barcelona was awful last week.

Just booked a place in the Durham dales to visit the inlaws in August.

For what it is it's not cheap going anywhere in this country.

sounds like its totally random and luck as to whether there are big fuck off queues or not

going to end up going 5 hours early or something, and then getting stuck in queues only to find that 2 hours before would have been fine

Flew out from manc on Tuesday took about 1/2 hour to get through security and that was about 4am

The problem is not helped that people see the queues and so turn up early. My missus is already saying we will get there at 3 !

I’m getting there 2 hours before. Sounds like they fast track anyway if it’s close to your flight time, so that works.

That's what we did, if we hadn't it would have been touch and go as the queue behind us had doubled in the space of 1/2 hour

I’ve just come back , T1 last Sunday for a 2pm flight, arrived 11:30 and was through security in 20 minutes 

back in last night at 6:30 , 10 mins through passport control, 15 mins wait for my bag that had ti be checked on due to being too big for the return even though it was the same bag I brought out 🤷‍♂️
didn’t seem busy at all though .
Second time in as many months I’ve been at the airport, not seen any queues or issues to be honest .

We're off to Nashville on 7th June, still need a real time test for USA.

We're flying business so hopefully should be able to skip many of the queues for check in and security. Will still be a bitch getting through Manchester & Heathrow though no doubt
