Im sure brexit will have made it easier, pal

It used to be relatively easy, we've taken ours to France several times. I'm not sure how much Brexit will have complicated matters now though

I go to France every summer with my Dog, pet passport, jabs up to date and a rabies jab about 6 weeks before you depart.

72 hours before you return, book into a vet in said country, book a few days in advance to make sure you get an appointment, you may have to learn a bit of spanish/French etc... in case the receptionist doesn't speak a word of the queen's, I've yet to come across a French vet who doesn't speak English. The cost depends on the weight of your dog, mine is a Bedlington Terrior, they charge on average around €40, starve the fucker to keep the cost down 😊

Going out, no checks, coming back (channel tunnel), they have a pet check-in, they check your pets passport is upto date, stamp it, off you go, really quick process.

Brexit hasn't changed the process, they treated pets as foreign and not European before Brexit.

Shhhh.

Rabies never existed before 2016.
