Trying to recall other lunchtime kick offs against this shower. Can't think of too many. There was the grim 1-0 defeat there under Megson when they were down to 10 men. I've a feeling the 4-1 home win that same season may have been a lunchtime Sunday kick off. Other than that nothing springs to mind.

Yes I’m hoping for that too both because I want a run in the FA Cup which we haven’t had for ages and also because a night match will add to the atmosphere.

That was 2pm, as was customary when we played a UEFA game on the Thursday wasn’t it?

If it was midday, I was somehow boozing in a few places in Wigan that morning.

It was 2pm....I was adamant I wasn't going even though its technically a home game for me. I was sulking after Lisbon, but the wife kept on mithering me to go, telling me I'd regret if I didn't....... She kept a low profile for a while when I got home 😁

Wiki says 3pm Sunday 

We played them at 1pm the Sunday after Plovdiv away 

Found myself in a ropey pub on an estate in goose green at 10am full of Wigan that day for an all dayer 

Off the back of a 3 dayer to Plovdiv 

Nearly killed myself on the m56 driving to work on the Monday
