get a lot more than a 1k without doubt to start with

Averaged 1,327 last season so you'd think if they played at Gigg Lane its got to be more than that.

There's still a huge split between a lot of FC & AFC fans, with threats and abuse all over social media.  A merger is the only realistic way forward but there'll be a lot of bitterness to get over.

It was that sort of thing that I feared would happen if the unthinkable had happened and we were forced down that road

If we'd gone under, I'd have had no interest in any phoenix.

That'd just be me done with football.

Why am I not surprised by this

Factional infighting going on now between the AFC Bury and the Bury FC groups

With poor old Radcliffe Borough stuck in the middle

https://fanbanter.co.uk/radcliffe-fc-cancel-kids-matches-as-bury-fc-fans-stage-protest-against-club-merger-proposals/

AFC Bury host North Shields in FA Cup qualifier at 1230pm - live streamed on BBC - demonstration going ahead against a merger by the anti AFC Bury brigade

If these fans dont resolve their differences cannot see League football ever returning to the town

Yeh there’s a huge amount of dislike between the 2. You’d think they would both see they struggled to support one club between them all a couple of years ago

They don’t deserve a club. They call Manchester, town.

And used to sell rags shirts in their club shop.

Tinpot.

Even the town's most famous sons didn't think they were worth saving.

And all with their dad's name written on the main stand
