“Clubbing” is excessive 😂. Looks like he’s re-living every one of our defenders making a twat out of themselves and every millisecond of that ball trickling past Baxter whilst at his Aunt’s 80th.

Every time I see him he doesn’t look well . That might be something like coaching staff Xmas piss up you never know .
In the old days a manager would drag the players in on Sunday as punishment after a shit show probably get HR onto them if they did that now

And GT looks a shadow of last season's player.

To be fair the best 2 performances I've seen from GT were both this season - was it Northampton away when he just ran the show, pinging long and short passes with unerring accuracy, and scoring a superb goal.

Then the 2nd half v Blackpool, dragged the team back from the brink.

But then at least half his games are nothing of the sort, every pass overhit, every tackle clumsy, and the pointless 1st half booking.

I wouldn't say he's gone backwards personally, just continued along the same path of inconsistency and sometimes looking like he's only just started in pro football.

You're right. He's had 1.5 good games this season.

I bet he did love it. He looks like a man that wants putting out of his misery, he’s out of his depth. He comes across as a bit thick as well which may not help.

To be fair, they were just on a social. The odd Blackpool fan was chanting but the players didn't encourage anything. I think Baptiste owns it so might be why in there.

Always been best buddies Baptiste and Evo haven't they?

Used to be in the beach house all the time.

Yeah so really not worth them getting grief for going out. I am sure it was arranged prior to your match against Wigan. Evatt is a passionate guy and I'm sure it slightly ruined his night out!

We were more bothered about Ormerod being in there! Star struck 😬

As has been quoted on WW several times I’m sure…..”the definition of insanity is trying the same thing and expecting something different”.

Can you imagine training this week?  “Right lads, let’s keep practising this 5-2-3 formation.  It’s going to work wonders in the next game when we nail it.  Ignore the previous 20 times it’s not worked.  Trust me, <<insert next opponents>> won’t know we’re going to play this way and won’t know how to counter. We’ll shit um”.

Player morale must be pretty rock bottom surely? They’ll know we’ll keep getting mullered doing this?

Except he hasn't tried the same thing. If anything, he's tried to change too much, to the point that he's fiddling with shit that didn't need fiddling with.

She’s probably still in this mindset, which up until the last few months I’ve been comfortable with, there’s too much reactive hiring and firing that goes on.

But I’d more a lot more comfortable now if she was willing to amend her perspective! She surely has to see that the longer this goes on, the more counter productive this whole situation becomes.

That said, I can’t stand some of the abuse on social media, to Evatt and even more so to Sharon.

Let's assume IE only gets the push once promotion is clearly not happening.  There could be 3 scenarios:

 - we completely fall away by the end of Feb (and even possibly looking over our shoulder) - new manager by March

 - we remain in and around 7th position and "have a chance" right upto 3rd May - new manager in May

 - we somehow get in the play offs, prolonging the agony another few weeks - new manager in June

The last of those is the most damaging - little time for the new manager to assess/sign/bed in players and once again the majority of the squad is starting next season with a play off hangover.

They are all painful scenarios, but I'd take the short term pain of the first one if we believe Sharon will make the right call.  Trouble is, no guarantee she will!

Agreed. As much as I acknowledge his time is probably up, seeing people question his commitment and call him "a cunt" and the like just makes me want him to keep going. Some of the abuse aimed at Sharon Brittan is beyond the pale too. Just can't get my head around that sort of mentality. It's not life and death ffs.

Was about to say the same. Grief for having a night out with his pals on Saturday is today’s example.

Calling him egotistical, a cunt, stubborn, etc. Suggestions, with no basis, about the nature of his relationship with Sharon. Regardless of people’s football opinions, they’re human beings who piss, shit, laugh and cry like the rest of us.

He's going nowhere

And as much respect as I have for Sharon, you can see from that video that it won't happen.

I'm not even convinced he wouldn't be given another season if we're in or miss out on the playoffs. Unless someone behind the scenes can convince her, it's highly unlikely.

Lot of respect for Evatt and it's grim hearing of the abuse that him and Sharon have received online. But anyone can see that it isn't working.

I don't care where he spends his free time.
Jesus Christ, we all needed a fucking drink after Saturday's game.

I’d say keeping him in the role would impact his health more than reliving him of his duties.

Let's sack him and find out.
