I noticed bbc stations have "gone back" to their genre. Other commercial ones back playing music. Are they all a bit muted with their selection though?

I’ve got cricket on, just when I nip in the car anywhere and switch radio on its bleak. Mind you my old fella passed away last week so perhaps that’s not helping my mood.

Thx chaps, I’m ok, it helps he was 90 and he’d basically had enough, was down to 40 kilo from over 100 kilo so it was a blessing in the end.

Seems I’ve used up my likes for today so I’ll comment instead. When my Mother died, Dad passed a few years earlier, I told a customer and he said so your now an orphan then. I was in my fifties and at first I was taken aback by his dark humour but then I understood his intentions. It’s normal for parents to pass away. It’s also normal to remember the good times we had with them.

Its the normal way to be “orphaned” and if all goes well you reach a decent age before it happens. My dad went when I was 24, mum more recently.
