Indeed. Was only My utopian it'll never happen view :)

Re the planning if you to Audley in Blackburn or near Preston City Centre and just browse across the skyline there's 4-5 big fuck of Mosques. To me that's totally unnecessary and how they were passed is criminal.

Then a multi-million pound super mosque has just been on the A road in to Blackburn. It stands out like a giant super mosques with big fuck off domes and spoils the entire area.

Imagine any other set of folk wanting to build such monstrous buildings? Would never get passed in a million years.

You must have seen that thing the Mormons (I think) built on your way back to the northwest riviera after a match?

Of course he has. But that's different, for some reason...

Is that a terrorist indoctrination centre too?

Re the mosques. Don’t for one minute think that all Muslims are happy with them all. Religious division in Islam is far worse than in Christianity.  That building in Astley Bridge on the site of The Brierfield. Mosque? Girls school? Educational Centre? Community Centre? Open to all? Open to Muslims only? Fuck me. A lot of the (brown) locals around my mums house are not happy with it

Built 40 years ago?

Aye.

Surrounded by a cluster of others?

No.

Would I be happy if it was built now?

Would I fuck.

Would it even be built now?

No chance.

Course it's different. I can't stand Islam or anything associated with it.

They’ve just got permission to add to it. An accommodation block that’s sleeps 500.

Keep out of these arguments usually, but of course it’s different.
it’s a building that is in the traditional architectural type that cover the country and fits in.
big domes don’t , in my opinion and spoil the aesthetics of a place .

not even a case of who worships what in them , for me anyway, couldn’t give a fuck.

What, like St Pauls Cathedral? Anyway, Gonzo has already admitted he doesn't like them purely because they're built for Islamic worship.

I used to live near didsbury mosque and it looked nothing like a mosque

The only issue I had was parking on match day, they'd double even triple park outside causing traffic chaos

Plus they're ugly looking things and don't in any way shape or form fit the surroundings and if they weren't a Muslim place of worship would never get passed in the first place, that's the point.

They're fucking hideous looking and change the landscape of towns they are allowed to inhibit.

Go and stand on the hill is Audley and tell me they look OK ffs.

Who knew the Mormons were so popular anyway.

How do I join? :D

I got sat on the same table as a Mormon couple at a birthday do a few years back. Weird fuckers. Completely dead behind the eyes. No sense of humour at all and everything they said sounded fake and rehearsed. Was like being in Invasion of the Bodysnatchers or something.

That's 3 church elders and their wives sorted.
