Shocking but not surprising

A consequence of prioritising the risk to the offender rather than to the public

Hopefully jail and deportation. Howverr Im guessing a change of ID and a relocation package within the UK

How do you deport somebody who was born here?

Presumably, this is reference to his parents.

As things stand, irrespective of the ECHR, I'm fairly sure we can't deport someone if they've not committed an offence.

Unless I've missed something, his parents haven't.

Perhaps that shows the need for changes to our laws, such that wider circumstances around certain situations are taken into consideration.

As for AR himself, he isn't going to be un-radicalised, and is a terrorist, so perhaps he does need a visit to a volcano.

Apparently The Metropole over here is now being closed down and the residents are offskis.

I've been saying it for ages, be careful what you wish for.

Where they gonna go now?

Into HMOs next door...

They're better off in hotels ffs.

That's a shame if it's true. I love those big, old grand hotels. It would just take so much money to do it up I suppose. And people don't want to stay in places like that these days.

It's a great building for sure - myself and @Traf stayed in there many years ago, and it was a bit of a shithole then, I can only imagine the state of the place now. It's a shame it'll never get back to its former glory

Yep. Labour are using this as a positive “we have closed the hotels like we said we would”

They just forgot to tell folk that they will now be cramming the folk leaving the hotels into HMOs up and down the country.

There is talk of an HMO in our village, utter uproar, as we don't even let brown people live here, never mind unsavoury refugee types :)

There was a petition sent around, and a little protest at the Parish Council meeting a few weeks ago, apparently. No way are the old duffers in this village allowing that to happen.

Aye, or in secure bases.

Or better still, gone back.

as long as those bases are up North, I'd hate to think they could be put in RAF Henlow when that closes down in a year or two - that's far too close for comfort 😉

Shetland, or some remote island.

Don't even need a "secure base" then.

A few tents, some grub and a ferry.

I'll even chip in a football.

Yes, let's put women and children in the most inhospitable environment available to us, just to show how much we value compassion and civilisation in Britain. I'm sure it's pure coincidence that the women and children you would relish being subjected to that are brown and probably Muslim.

So it’s ok for Brits to live there but not someone who has just arrived illegally. Oh and you will be a bit upset to learn that they’re not all brown, far from it. You do like being wrong don’t you.
