You are correct though that things do seem to have got worse since Brexit, and they are getting progressively worse. Maybe it will take Reform getting into power, to see how bad things can really become.

I didn't mention 'old' or 'thick'. I spoke to plenty of folk of varying ages. Work colleagues, friends, family, friends of friends, strangers in pubs - all over the country as I was working away a lot at the time. I've mentioned it on here before, but I remember being sat in a beer garden the day before the referendum with my old man and about 20 other blokes, and every single one of them said they were voting Leave to get rid of Muslims. I couldn't believe it either.

I presume you corrected them and told them that isn't how it works, in fact a vote for Brexit was always going to mean more came in from the sub-continent, not less.

it's a worry if what you're saying is true, and I'm sure they'll be the first to complain when Reform utterly fuck them over and bankrupt the country in a few years time. And it'll serve them right, the thick cunts.....and they'll no doubt still love Farage
