It's Friday night bedlam on here.

For his many faults, Cheese is right on one thing though - A Reform government would be absolute carnage. Would tear the country to pieces.

You said similar about Brexit and yet, miraculously, the sun did come up the next day.

It's going to be fucking hilarious watching the scutters that vote for them get their benefits slashed and public services destroyed. Bring it on.

I am finding your tone of inevitable defeat rather endearing.

Almost foaming the the mouth.

Yep. Turkeys voting for Christmas for the second time. It's going to be amazing.

 Delusional halfwit. Brexit didn't stop your production of utter shite, more's the pity.

And like me, they'll probably be reet and ride it out for a few years. But I'll enjoy watching the thick racist scutters squirm.

Like we've been watching you squirm since the Brexit referendum?

I’ve not gone too far away 😉.  All out of control on here today so keeping my powder dry.  I’ve even decided against  putting Bolty on ignore, sorry to disappoint him. Red wine helps 🍷 👍

You bastard. I bought a vanload of Bassetts liquorice all sorts to celebrate. My nurse was halfway through emptying them into my tun dish feeding tube when I read this. Nearly choked on 14 coconut wheels.

I can predict (and that's all it is, a personal prediction) he'll never me knighted/honoured. You think different which is fine. We'll know in the next decade or so.

I do honestly think, in a generation or two, he be viewed as an incredibly divisive individual, and viewed by most as a bad 'un

You are entitled to your opinion as am I. We are at opposite ends of the scale on this one but that's par for the course.

In a generation or two they will be far more concerned about burgeoning population/dwindling resources rather than worrying about true British heroes.

We aren't going to defeat Islamism and Islamist extremism with love I'm afraid

Extremism I understand, but why do you want to defeat standard Islamism?

Not that anyone will

Absolutely.

I listened to a resident of the area local to the incident being interviewed.

His comment that "Kumbaya politics" was ineffective, and not enough, was quite telling.

We've heard the same time and time again.

Particularly at the vigil for those killed in the Arena bombing.

Well meaning of course, but in the end it becomes a bit of a cop-out.

The sun always rises my friend

 Even you know this

Brexit has been a disaster for this country. It’s even caused a rise in boat crossings.

Reform won’t improve living standards or grow our economy (neither will this current Labour government Tbf).

Their policy book reads like it was written by a foamy mouthed Mail reader. With no substance and based on mistruths.

And any government who wants to abandon climate change targets and halt the transition to cleaner energy is dangerous. But thats no surprise considering the party is filled to the brim with conspiracy theorists & climate deniers.

These are people who want our future to be in alliance with the likes of Elon Musk & the MAGA Movement.

It would be carnage. Only thing I can see working is if there is a coalition across other parties to keep them out.

Yeah - can see how that would be confusing after rereading it! 🤣

😊 No problem. What I was trying to say was that Labour’s poor showing in the polls was because of their unpopularity rather than Reforms popularity. This is from a presentation by Sir John Curtice showing where the voters that voted Labour last time have moved to. Reform will benefit the most though. Not the best photo but the best I could find.👍

 The sun always rises. Thank you for clarifying oh learned one.

I know NIC is the absolute acme in the field of arrogant superiority complexes but it does seem to be evenly spread amongst the other lefties on here too.

Amusing to see how frantic they become when a few council by election results are announced.

It's coming. Strap yourself in.

Thanks mate I'm with you now! Yeah that's interesting - I'm surprised how many have moved towards the greens and the Lib Dems. Encouraged actually. Just because I can't see that many people changing their votes to these parties in a GE if it was likely Reform might get in.

I just think the collective would think that would be so catastrophic for the country that they stick with Labour.

I can see the other parties doing very well in the locals though and Labour getting a proper hiding.

We'll see I suppose!

Greens have grown as they have expanded and become increasingly focused on more left wing attitudes.

Now that Corbyn et al have set their stall out, then the radicals have an alternative.

I've not had a look at what the Greens are saying for a long time. Or the Lib Dems. Maybe I should? As a radical and all! 😁

I don't think Hitler was defeated with "more love ".

Many brave people gave their lives to defeat him & anti semitism, which makes the return of anti semitism to this country even more shameful.

Sulking about defeat for 5 years is going to be a commendable effort, I have to say.

amusing to watch, of course, and then we get to observe 5 years of a reform government sending all the brown people back to France and installing Britain back to a 50’s paradise of whistling bobbies, beer for tuppence and spitfires patrolling the skies.

happy daze.
