Many brave people gave their lives to defeat him & anti semitism, which makes the return of anti semitism to this country even more shameful. We're not fighting Hitler though mate. Islamism is an idea. Albeit a pernicious idea that spreads through a feeling of injustice. It's not an army you can fight. And I'm not sure you can defeat an idea with guns. And I think you're right about anti semitism, and about all other forms of racism. Quote

Unfortunately, that would be seen as too radical, extreme or whatever. We aren't dealing with a group of people like others, and it needs a focused, specific set of policies. If that is seen as unequal then tough. Make it completely unacceptable here, and leave them to fuck up their own Islamic countries. Quote

What about the idea that the authorities get stricter - but the general public does more to try and make connections with the communities that aren't openly hostile and make them feel accepted? Instead of alienating them? Which I think will only push more people into the arms of extremist groomers. Quote

I respect your views, I used to share them & don't claim to have the answer but i'd hoped that the muslims would assimilate more into this country by starting to move away from an over dependence on their faith ( not abandoning it ) but it seems to be heading the other way with muslim areas becoming more & more muslim & less British !!........just going down B/burn Rd there are 2 more big mosques going up. increasing numbers of women showing anything but assimilation by wearing burqas ,foreign languages being spoken even by children & as others have said,it does sometimes feel like being a foreigner in our own town. With this week alone there being 2 more grooming gangs, an attack on a synagogue & the murder of 2 Jews & growing anti semitism, it's getting harder to see the positives, & i can't see how showing "love" will turn this around, more likely be taken as a green light to go further !!..... though I'd struggle to give a realistic alternative ( or any that wouldn't be branded racist ) Quote

It's hard mate. But however appealing the idea might be to some folk, these people aren't going away. So we've somehow got to find a way of living together. There's inevitably going to be more terror attacks. But part of their motivation is no doubt to make integration harder. And radicalise other folk who might be wavering/or have been victims in war they might partly blame on the UK, or mentally ill. So if anything we need to work harder as individuals - and the people in power (whoever that might be) need to do a better job about controlling the numbers of people we accept. I still think we're probably not all that far apart in the way we think. And thanks for respecting my views even though they're different than yours. It's reciprocated! 👍 Quote

Now that Corbyn et al have set their stall out, then the radicals have an alternative. Absolute nutjobs. Thankfully they'll only get single digit percentage of the vote like last time. This time hopefully less than 6.7% thanks to that sultana Corbyn. They'd have us living back in the dark ages. Quote

I'd equate this to a football manager (possibly baking a cake) and about a month into a difficult job with people calling for his head because he's not turned things around in 4 weeks. Also they're having to build a squad of freebies because the club are in debt! 😁 Quote
